I do like watching my husband work and his projects he does. I find myself always looking out the window to the farm to see what he’s doing now. He truly is the coolest person around 🥰😉. Every time I turn around something new is happening and I kinda expect it. I have come to the conclusion that my life would be boring without my husband Luke in it. I guess I’m officially a farm girl now. 🤣🤣

Farming looks incredibly expensive! Thank you for sharing the wonderful life you give the chickens. I’m so happy they can get out now! I can’t stomach what I’ve heard some of the conditions they live in. I have a new appreciation for how our food gets to the table. How will they fill this? Amazing! I don’t know if you could do it or not especially with the kind of weather you guys have and I being in California it’s it’s warm even in the winter time. But why don’t you guys just build a building because you guys are Smart and doing things like that.

My son wants captions too. He’s severely hearing impaired and even with hearing aids he still misses some stuff. He likes to see what the boys do as he’s only 3-4yrs younger.
Since watching you guys, the question that comes to my mind, is, why do you guys trade the chickens every two years for another group of chickens? Also, when made you guys go into the chicken business?
The level of egg production, egg size, and shell quality decrease each year. Most commercial layers are kept for 2-3 years as their egg production decreases after this time. To keep a small flock producing, owners should plan to retire old hens and add young hens (pullets) every 2-3 years.
