Let's talk about Quiet On Set

It has been about a week since the docuseries has been out and there are a lot of subjects/topics that I think need to be discussed, such as trauma, toxic workplaces, harassment, etc.

I like how compationate and well thought-out your review is. About some people not speaking up, first, I agree with you, they should do it only if and when they feel comfortable sharing, but second they may be prohibited by a confidentiality agreement.
What frustrates me the most about these topics is that it seems to be cyclical, every few years we hear about the mistreatment of a child actor and not much changes, probably because the industryis so powerful and influential

Thank you very much! You bring an excellent point. I completely forgot about any documents that they could have signed, like NDAs, where they can't mention what happened. It does seem very cyclical and a lot of it is because it is so powerful, like you said. And if there were any changes it either takes a lot of time or there is, potentially, pushback.
