  • In today’s video, I compare the regular-size Cinch binding machine with the mini cinch. I will cover all the details you need to make an informed decision: which sizes of notebooks each one makes, their pros and cons, the sizes of binding wires they use, how many pages of paper they punch, and much more.
I also go over the other kinds of cinches you might find, including the one that uses discs and the new mini Cinch, which comes with seven cartridges.
If you are interested in buying a Cinch binding machine, find the links below to all the types in the market.

Thank you so much! I had to double check the mini cinch description on the website and the only place I found that said it used 5/8” wire was on the back of the package. To me, the fact that it only works with one diameter of wire is the most important factor, and I wouldn’t have thought about it if I hadn’t seen your review. I guess you could close the wire by hand but that defeats the purpose of buying a binding machine. Thanks again!

This video and the one about the mini, are very, very helpful. I am wondering if the leftover sections of the wires can be used by putting them together to form a longer wire for larger notebooks? If so, can wires be intentionally cut in sections so as to make a multi-color binding? Also, I like to make refillable items for myself and to give away. Once the paper is used up, can the cover and any dividers be removed and put together with another stack of papers for cinching with a new wire?
