Back in 2009 my husband lost his construction business due to the credit crunch. We sold everything we could to survive. It didn’t take long for everything we had worked over a decade for to be gone. He had paid higher rate taxes and we had never claimed anything. We both were working full time to support ourselves, then due to the weather (beast from the east)my husband had 10 weeks without work. We had higher outgoings than income. My husband was forced for the first time in his career to apply for benefits to help us feed our children. We were told that we couldn’t claim anything. I noticed that there was a form about emergency funds for families who needed help. We were then told this was only available to non British nationals. It completely changed our perspective on this country and its lack of support for those who really need it. Why should someone come from another country and be entitled to anything other than the basic needs? They should be removed the same day if their asylum claim is denied and as asylum seekers they should not be entitled to settlement status at all (there should be a focus on returning them back to their home countries as soon as it’s safe for them)
Our own people should be prioritised over asylum seekers. Until we have no homeless, no need for food banks and a better standard of living for everyone born here, there should be no help other than the bare necessities for anyone else. I’m sick of feeling like we matter less than foreigners in our own country.
Please gather evidence of discrimination by the system against local brits. Document everything. Wear hidden cameras when needed. Because when you talk about this stuff, the leftists will keep denying it is happening and then scream racist.

I’m surprised how illegal migrants are so commonplace in many countries when I’ve grown up in a country that as a very firm stance against it. I’ve always thought it is the same in most places but I’ve realised many European countries and America struggles with this issue.

You’re correct there! I was made jobless over a year ago. I didn’t want to claim benefits. Eventually had to, and received three letters from an office in West Midlands, broken English, signed by a foreigner, all containing a different refusal message, one saying ‘you are not entitled, BECAUSE IT IS THE LAW’… I despair. Foreigners are running our welfare state!

My family lives in Hartlepool. The population demographic is changing for the worse and fast. I will no longer allow my pensioner wife to go unaccompanied as illegal migrants hang around creating an air of tension. They should be removed.
My late mam lived there. She was intimidated by groups of them standing on the corner of her street, staring at her, spitting all over, sneering and generally just being horrible. Her father and brothers fought in two wars to keep this country safe and at 87 she was scared to walk outside in her own street. She’s no longer with us sadly but her final years weren’t ones where she even felt safe in her own home.

About time an MP stood up and told it how it really is, the government isn't doing anything. Our old age pensioners are struggling and these freeloaders get housing, heating and food for nothing all at the taxpayers expense, get shut of them and the country may not be in such a state

This lady has BALLS!!! The metaphorical kind! She should be prime minister! Congratulations! All refugees should be genuine if they are allowed to stay. You have to get tough. There has to obligations on BOTH sides! Migrants should obey the law and get work. They should not leech on society and commit crime! The lady has balls!

@@mallard4495 We the British public are left to face the many dangers now on our streets (and even in our homes) in situations created by rich politicians who are protected from all this by not having to use public transport and living in expensive homes security protected at the cost of the British taxpayer. They don't care what's happening because it doesn't affect them!

In 1979 - 84 i did engineering and went to luton college - it went from a balanced city to being acforeign hostile place - So sad 😞. I also used to go to a mod club at the bottom of farley hill ( celtic club i think ). Exodus - the rave movement was awesome - in the early 80s the punk band UKDK was brilliant- what a dam shame
