This was one of those scenes I wish I could watch again for the first time, along with Thor arriving in Wakanda and Cap lifting Mjolnir. The utter hype of the moment in combination with the music. I can only imagine how the movie theater would have EXPLODED for this scene.
It really does have the same "YOOOOOOOOOOO" vibes as when Wonder Woman showed up in BvS, when Thor showed up at the end of IW and went "Bring me THANOS!!!!" and when Cap lifted mjolnir in Endgame.

I really respect the fact that Tom didn't try and go a different route and introduce a whole new sound for this but instead honored the original zimmer superman theme from man of steel. Definitely brings the entire MOS, BVS and now ZSJL arc full circle

henry cavill's superman never needed the john williams theme. he has his own theme, composed of hope and light and spirit, and tom holkenborg brough us it beautifully.
I don't get why Supes needs to be stuck in the 70s while Batman is free to be modern. While I enjoy various versions, including camp versions, I hate how most see Superman as only a campy mess. Anyway, the theme does respect the Williams score by making the first part be a little "louder" and "upbeat" like in the Reeve movies. Just a slight nod. Really slight. Maybe just me.

It’s “Flight”, which is sort of a secondary theme for Superman. The proper theme makes an appearance when he flies off from the Kryptonian ship.

fun fact: this is why henry cavill is our generations “reeve” superman, reeve 40 years ago has said that he wanted to do a superman film very grounded, realistic was the word he mentioned and not so campy (basically man of steel from zack snyder) and then 4 decades later zack directs a superman film that reeve wanted ANYWAY. #restorethesnyderverse
This scene actually represents Superman as a symbol of hope. You can feel the flight 2.0 is lighter and faster than the original version.

@@EliasGamez I just didn't like it it ruined thanos and a few other characters and destroyed the continuity and made everything feel out of balance disjointed.
