- Ancient Aliens? A very interesting lecture (moderate quality audio) of Manly Hall discussing the book "Chariots of the Gods? by Erich von Daniken, which had recently been published. His take on this is similar to his perspective on the UFO and flying saucer phenomena or the 1950's - namely, that while space people may have visited the earth at some point, there are other possible explanations.
Ultimately, he wants to steer away from outside, external forces and instead, focus on our internal resources which may be even more amazing. This is a constant theme of his books and lectures throughout his career - the humankind alone has the power to save itself from itself.

This is such a good lecture. Whenever somebody tries to talk about the ideas behind shows like ancient aliens i usually try to point them to secret teachings or works by albert pike… usually hinting that these myths and legends are based on esoteric symbolism and not primitive accounts of ufo sightings. Manly p hall did a great work dispelling cult logic and fantastic ideas i never knew he actually touched on this subject.
MPH always stay ahead of the topics while he was around. He stayed on top of his work.

TPTB have a concerted effort to always keep us looking outside of ourselves when we can't explain these great structures of the past and the legends of human greatness, it would not serve any purpose for them if we understood the greatness of humanity comes from within,.

Manly gives a deep insight in forgotten history here, almost to a forbidden point, you should be thankful for that.
Through this Lecture he opened one of the Doors to the Origins of Humanity and the reason for their Existence . . .
Consider that both viewpoints hold Truth, consider that spiritual and scientific understanding is required to understand the whole thing, all that is within the soul is materialised , as within so outside.
Problem is the ancient alien scientists make one critical mistake, they percieve most things from a purely scientific viewpoint and analysis and give the spiritual not much importance , except as a way to worship something unknown or more powerful.
Through that they miss important information and blind themselves to underlying layers , as they still stuck to a scientific , material perspective.
This is also explained by Manly P Hall, that it is not good to percieve things one sided.
However do not laugh about the Ancient Aliens people because they also hold pieces of knowledge and through their extraordinary new approach independent from Academic Science they give possibility to a new perception of things, specificly to this ancient cultures and their contact with other beings and help on revealing knowledge awell as they bring ancient mysteries back into modern times and therefore the ancient knowledge back into public discussion.
Therefore their work and dedication to their ideas they hold on, despite their disrespect and mocking from the scientific community side are honorable and should be respected, since they support something important that we should all take an exmaple of which is.
We should observe things from many viewpoints, question everything, have an openmind to all ideas and consider even bizarre ideas and strange ideas to be valuable to increase knowledge of the world around us. everything is discovered for a reason , things are leaked and given access to for a reason including this lecture.
On the end it is the knowledge inside us , it is the mysteries of our being which take form in the outside world, so we shall start to seek through them within.
Based on many years of research and contemplation...

Humanity seemed to be on some sort of natural path of evolution, then...
Something traumatic happened with our DNA.
Changing our genetic code and throwing us off, as a species in our natural growth pattern.
Whether that be forward or back is not for me to say,
But nevertheless something happened in our (humanities) past that disrupted our natural pattern of growth.
That being said, there are stories of other beings on other planets that this same sort of DNA disruption has happened to.
and have had to re learn or regress into what was missing in their species in order to move forward.
At the risk of sounding cynical...
Find that humanity may be in this pre-teen sort of stage,
for lack of a better way to put it...
and that we, as a species have a lot of growing up to do.
Maybe it's just my perception, but it seems as we get to an end of an "age" or cycle, humanity seems to go through growing pains...
all throughout history this same pattern seems to repeat
Itself until hopefully we will get to a place of true knowledge of ourselves and others.
Leading to what I can only describe as a Truly Free Society.

There is absolutely no evidence that aliens ever visited our planet physically or spiritually, people who look to such explanations still have a lot of study to do before they have a true understanding of the symbolism occulted in our ancient legends and mythologies.

Personally, i agree that a more reasonable hypothesis to explain much of the mysteries of ancient history to be prior human civilisations that had attained levels of advanced knowledge &/or higher degree of consciousness &/or intelligence whether that be surviving remnants or a more organised remnant & potential 'breakaway'* civilisation
Also the period on earth that may he referred to as high antiquity encompass's such vast periods of time it's entirely plausible that several of the hypothesis put forward are or have been a reality.
*A section of a population from an advanced civilisation which survives, with much of it's achievements/knowledge intact, a global wide cataclysm would be a potential breakaway civilisation.
Given that governments in the current 'modern' civilisation have prepared underground facilities for just such an eventuality as a cataclysmic event that among the inventory include copies of all patents it's highly probable that any prior civilisations would have done exactly the same.

Love to hear out of the box opinions on this subject. All the media coverage on the UFO/UAP phenomenon of late seems to be focused on the idea of a physical craft, or a particular technology that we lack. It's also being framed as an external threat we need to prepare for whether from a foreign adversary or potentially a truly foreign adversary from another planet altogether.
Although some UFO researches like Jacques Vallee and others like Steven Greer (though he seems to believe their are both physical craft and extra dimensional) seem to agree with Hall in that it may not be a nuts and bolts craft or an extra terrestrial alien but something even more complex that works mostly through physic and mental forces.

The sumerian gods were aswell real beings who created mankind geneticly. also known as Annunaki whilst the bible God YHWH was Enlil and Enki, Elohim, El Shaddai while at the same time it is also our mind, because the annunaki are representation of that potential manifested.

Sitchin argued the word Anunnaki means "those who came from the heavens to earth" a phrase that made clear their extraterrestrial origin. If you look at the etymology of the word itself, at its root meanings. And look at the component parts, you have "Anu" which means "heavens" "Ki" which means earth "Annunaki" are "those who came from the heavens to the earth" you can follow the logic.
But even if you didn't have that narrative embedded in the word itself, as soon as you read the original translations and general consensus of the translations the meanings of the stories themselves unpack that that is exactly what was going on. Even the glyph they (Sumerians) used to indicate the rulers to come down from the heavens at the beginning of the story, that glyph simply indicates the sky. So these Anunnaki are from the heavens.
