Anyone else getting BOTW or TOTK vibes from the mural and intro scene? Like the the music combined with the art style?
Have to say this looks good, I really like the amount of possible customization.
LOOOL this reminds me so much of when I used to play boardgames with myself as a kid :D I LOVE the idea that you choose the enemy turns, but your options are restricted !
The music is charming. It’s visually gorgeous. It ticks a whole ton of my personal boxes gameplay loop wise. Add me into the group whole heartedly looking forward to this to fully release
This demo is incredibly promising. I only have 2 criticisms:
- I wish there was a way to capture an enemy chimera after battle.
- The rate of acquiring chimeras seems a bit slow. With 3 regions total and 1 chimera per region, you'd still have a basic beloid going into the final region.
Obviously fixing the 1st one would also fix the 2nd one. I'd really love it if we were allowed to capture 1-2 enemy chimeras per run.
similarly, starting with 1 chimera could help that problem too.
(maybe a choice of 1 out of 3 wink wink nudge nudge)
@rlyeh Same here. I'm not just demanding every mon game adhere to the formula, I do genuinely enjoy the capture mechanic.

Oh wow I love that the compendium has a you for size comparison thing. It's a little thing, but it helps you immerse in that world more
29:06 Not going to lie, the concept behind the Asteroid Belt is so cool to me. The visual design, implied working mechanism, and paving way for a particularly goofy build... On top of me being a space nerd ofc 😂

Something about owls’ round head just fits so perfectly on a bear body.

One thing I'd love you to do is to indicate what platforms each rogue lite might be released on. Number of times youve convinced me that I MUST have this game and then discovered it's PC only... Definitely lost count
