Now, not only are the red lights no longer flashing, but since the Xbox is destroyed there are no lights that could flash to begin with. Now it's guaranteed never to happen again! It worked for me, maybe you didn't follow the instructions properly. Did you tape the PS2 on the same leg that he did? It won't work otherwise.
You gotta hit the Xbox at very specific angles. It took me about 4 months and over five dozen consoles to get it right.
