Jet Airways, based in Mumbai, started its operation in 1992. The privately-owned carrier had 120 aircrafts and over 1,000 destinations to serve. However, in April this year, Jet Airways flew its last flight from Amritsar to Mumbai.

Indigo never killed Jet Airways. It failed due to it's own bad financial policies and having some other interest rather than running the existing business in a better way.
Indigo is now enjoying monopoly and exploiting the passengers.....iam staying in Dubai and when I checked the air fare the price of Indigo airlines are high. Even though indigo being a budget airline, it's ticket fare higher than one of best airlines in the world like Emirates airlines. The cheapest ticket to travel to India is offered by the one and only Air Arabia which is also one of the best budget airlines..... 👍👍 So I prefer Air Arabia and Emirates airlines rather than Indigo... 👍👍

In 2019 they cheated me ₹15,000 for a Bangalore to Guwahati flight 4-etickets by playing flight diversion techniques. They started sending emails of flight via Mumbai just before departure and the flight from Mumbai to Guwahati will start before the flight from Bangalore reaches Mumbai. Dirty game ...

Yes, Indigo is a low-cost carrier but they had the worst carrier I have ever experienced with. compared to JetAirways, JetAirways not only give good service, Its give you comfort & Secure with Experience Pilots, High Maintained Carrier, Very low turbulence in traveling, Smooth Landing & Ect.

Exactly, like how he said in conclusion that jet focus on indigo that's why lost, but meanwhile in whole video he keeps explaining how jet spent extras for Hugh customer services rather than indigo who was working in neutral, not so good, not so bad. Simply conclusion shows that jet focused more on high effort facility to customers, maintenance etc, that makes their operating cost very high. Even after having 2 low cost subsidiary jet was still having high cost of operating cause of better maintenance even in most cost carriers.

The downfall if Jetairways started when they bought Sahara.
Jet Airways staff was well groomed & highly paid than Sahara, they were serving meals flights & Jet crew looked at themselves as superior to other Airline Crew.
Once Ethihad invested 27% in Jet, Naresh Goyal siphoned off money aand fuel prices killed Jet.
Okay, please do not circulate wrong information. Jet airways was not killed nor any other airline disrupted its operations. Jet airways went into brief financial cum legal issue which was handled by NCLT and post successful clearances of all underlying issues, jet airways has come back to start operating from Quarter 3 of 2022 through its new owners. There was no airline or competitor involved, it had internal issues which have been now resolved.
What happened to 8000 crores bank loans. I have not seen any news that jet airways has settled the bank loans.

And today Indigo has pushed its price as much as a full service airlines. Sometimes even Air India and Vistara prices are lesser than Indigo. Now Indigo has placed order for 500 Airbus A 320 to be delivered only in 2030 to 2035. I am hoping they didnt do the same mistake of Jet, by oversight in market volume. Monopoly can be a mistake too sometimes.

I stopped flying by Indigo long ago. It has the worst service, worst on board food and worst seats. I travel by Air Asia and Vistara on domestic routes. SIA and Middle East Airlines for abroad travel.

It's not indigo to restrict the baggage count, it's a directive from government of India.

Why should the government be concerned with how much baggage allowance is given to passengers. It has nothing to do either with gravity, runway load bearing nor excessive fuel consumption.
Indigo came up with this decision and rest of the airlines followed!
@@satparin government is concerned only for cabin baggage not the belly baggage. Belly baggage weight is controlled by airline, cabin baggage count is controlled by government. The more cabin baggage, the more cascading effect on processing of Pax load st security check point creating load on cisf and further delaying other processes.

About low costs carier i found. Whenever any cust search for any plane it search the lowests costly and its also get selected in the seqrch engine. Again i dont think buy8ng sahara is a wrong decision as that time it was at its peak. If the stock market revenue is more than 110000 crore then 1470 cr is nothing for any flight. Naresh sud increase the management but it requires good policies. Autonomous body shows good scope but big management if the c9mpany earsn good may be its a good decision. Main focus of jetairways is onpy competiting with indigo that means they onpy take it as a leader im the market of airways. Whereas they can focus on themseoves to improve and change and make cust happy and satisfied. I found jet gvs good food and indigi gvs onoy a bailey water of 5 rupees in a 2 hour travel. Whereas as indian airlines gv chowmien, water amd sweets. When tgey found tge prices of the per barrels air costs increases they can stop the long journey or reduce its frequency then anf there wat done by maliyas kingfisher airlines.and it may show tge seriousness of their policies which can be refoected in the next financial budget. Other than that they can make the short journet food reduce or zero or reduce the quality or providehand made items which may reduce costs. another wrong steps include they want to onoy remain in airlines industry where they never takes the leadershi0 position rather compete with a low costs airlines indigo. Where as they can slowly expand and imvests in some other dector which will act as a supporting hand for the loses of tge airlines business. In one word tgey maintained well behand corporate culture in the airlines industry. Tge pilot shows guts in showing gratitude towards the customers after each travel whereas the indigos experiance shows shakky old dabba with rusts all around the flights with a bailey 5 rupees bottle water and no words of curtesy even.

It is not Indigo but Air Deccan that brought the concept of low cost airlines, way before Indigo. Factual mistake ... Air Deccan is the real reason for downfall as that led Jet to create their low cost version ...this started the downfall.
