In other languages they are not even nearly as harsh to each other and sound more like they’re 2 people who understand each other so well that they can afford friendly bantering and picking at each other. Alhaitham doesn’t like to bother himself with people he hates. If he truly hates Kaveh, he never would’ve let him passed the door let alone live in his house. In short, even if there’s no romance involved, the shippers are more spot on than the EN localization team
