- Keeping a vehicle even somewhat organized when you have kids is a challenge. We’ve built this basic set of drawers to help keep thing a little bit neater. It will also help keep items secure in their place in case of an accident.
Stay tuned for more on the camper!

I love how your son just stands there and watches you, such a good observer I know he’s taking down mental notes to do it himself down the road. Can’t wait till my kid is patient enough to watch me work like that
He loves to watch and help!
Thanks for the insight. I have a ‘19 Tahoe and am going to build something similar for my work gear but seeing what you did helped greatly.
Glad it was helpful!
Looks simple enough. I'm thinking of making a drawer for a tahoe. Thanks for uploading
My trunk with all my construction gear looks the same as yours did lol
My Tahoe is definitely getting one of these 👍
Nicely done young man! This video deserves way more views... you have earned a new subscriber today.😁😉👍🤙🤟👍
Much appreciated!
Omg! No sliders! Brilliant. I was worried because ima put heavy items in mine and the face that you got the drawers very tight will prevent it from wiggling around in there.
It's a little harder to pull out than it would be with sliders but we have had no problem with it.
love this idea. i have a "01 i want to do this to. love the simple and interchangeable style of these. new subscriber here looking to do similar mods to mine.
Awesome! It's a pretty simple build. If you're in the Arkansas area hit up Tracer Customs, they can build one for you
Lovely work. I would like to copy your job if you mention dimensions. Greatly appreciated
Outstanding!
Awesome video, I'm considering something similar for my Honda CR-V.
Go for it!
Yep, me too for my CRV!
hey man this is great. I was watching other videos making it so much more complicated. what kind of wood is on the sides??? thanks
It’s just pine boards. If you want smoother sliding add some heavy duty latching sliders but other than that this setup is simple and effective
I’m having some trouble measuring for the drawers, how did you do that?
Just measured the width and depth and then decided how tall I wanted them
Hey man, thanks for the video, nice to see a simple solution without sliders.
Is there any risk of the drawers getting stuck with the wood inflating due to humidity?
Thanks!
I don’t think so, I’ve been using these for a while now with zero issues.
What are the measurements of the drawled?
How much weight does it add to the vehicle?
What are the dimensions?
What a patient dad. Omg haha. I want you to build me one too. How much?
Do you have the exact measurements for the entire box and drawers?
I do not
Did you use 3/4” for everything?
The bottoms of the drawers are 1/2
Do you have trailer brakes ???
Yes we do! There is a video on how we did them
Do the walk around.
I hope you didn’t do bed liner.
Carpet at $1/SF from homer depot can be replaced cheap enough and vacuums fine. Use releasable flooring adhesive.
Or if you’re fussy about cleanup, upholstery vinyl won’t look like you don’t really care about anything.
Bedliner is nasty, looks awful, and doesn’t clean well- but it ain’t renewable. And it looks like you don’t care about anything.
I still haven’t coated it in anything yet. I don’t really like carpet because of how much dirt gets in it. I may just do a basic paint job on all of it then put down a plastic floor mat over the top
Can you make one for me? I will pay
If I had time, unfortunately I’m pretty busy
great job, but when showing your vehicle I would cove the license plate
