  • Ferry to Sardinia- Ferry boat is one way to reach the beautiful island of Sardinia. The island of Sardinia is big and having a car is quite important. For this reason the ferry boar is a quite popular way to travel to Sardinia. You can catch the Ferry boat in Genova, Livorno or Civitavecchia. The ferry ride is between 7 and 12 hours depending on the route. Having a cabin is really important. The ferry has few amenities n board such as buffet restaurant, restaurant a la carte, bars and pizzeria.
    Sardinia is an incredible island, with some of the most incredible blue water in the world. Taking the Ferry to Sardinia is not difficult and very convenient. There are few different ferry lines and the cost vary depending on the season.
    We are two Canadians currently living in Italy. We moved to Italy in November 2018 to start a new chapter of our life's and we would like to share our story with. We hope you enjoy it.

    About us:
    In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend's lists - but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.
    After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew - and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.

    Finally! I've never travelled by boat and would like to ensure my safety when I go from Genoa to Porto Torres. Of all the vlogs I've seen none of them showed what the sleeping quarters look like.
    Given you travelled in peak season can you give me an idea of the cost of a ticket with sleeping cabin please? I'm not keen on trying to sleep in the corridor with the masses.
    Thank you.
    By the way, love your travels.

      Thanks for the kind words!!! Sardinia Ferries with a cabin and car costs about 100 Euro per person return, with a car. But it really depends on the day, time (day crossing, or night), etc.

    Love your videos! They are so helpful as I plan my trip. Any particular Ferry line that you prefer over the others? I’m guessing none are particularly comfy, lol

      @@TravelAddictsLife thanks! Any reason why ferry is preferred over flying?

    • @TravelAddictsLife
      @TravelAddictsLife  Před rokem

      Because in Sardinia you need a car to move around, you can fly and rent one bit for a long stay gets expensive
