At the 71st World Health Assembly, four distinguished experts - Dr Yelzhan Birtanov, Minister of Healthcare of Kazakhstan; Dr Hans Kluge, Director of the Division of Health Systems and Public Health at WHO Europe; Ms Vidhya Ganesh, Deputy Director of UNICEF Programme Division; and Dr Edward Kelley, Director, Service Delivery and Safety at WHO Headquarters, share their thoughts on the legacy of the Alma-Ata Declaration, their vision for primary health care, and encourage all to contribute to the Global Conference on Primary Health Care, taking place in Astana, Kazakhstan on 25-26 October 2018.
