    Sounds better on this reviewer than any other I've heard, voice or instrument.

    Quick question I have the blue encore 200 microphone and Id 14mk2 interface and I have to turn the gain all the way up to achieve a decent sound is that normal ? I have phantom power turned on if you're wondering

    The Encore 100i is Blue's direct response to the 57.

    Wonder if its working like a dynamic microphone connected too a cloud lifter, taking the 48v ans turning into clean gain

    The way that you explained this mic is a bit confusing. the capsule doesn't see any of the phantom power. it really just has a built in gain boost. its almost like a CloudLifter, but built in.

    Hi there! I have a question. When using enCORE 200 in the studio I get static noise from the cable, the moment I move the mic. It is not heard when me and the band perform but still I would like to get rid of it. I do not have the same problem with a conventional dynamic mic e.g. SHURE Beta 58A. Do you have any idea what should I do? This mic has great performance and this is the only problem I had so far. Thank you for the review by the way, it helped me choose this mic and I do not regret it.

      Are you supplying 48v of phantom power via a balanced cable? If the cable isn't shielded properly, you will definitely get some serious static. I can say I've never had this issue, so that could be the problem. -Whiteshadow

      Turned out that it was the cables. They were worn out and when i tried the mic with a new XLR cable it worked like a charm with no static. Thanks for the advice and keep up the good work. -Alex

    doesn't sound as essy/harsh as the 57, which is welcomed esp on vox

      If you are looking for a closer comparison to the 57, Blue made the Encore 100i as a direct response.

    Hi!!! here a newly singer from Chile looking for an advice:
    Between the Blue enCore 200 and the TC Helicon MP-75 which one would you buy?

    How would this compare to a Samson q2u?

    • @morpheus6364
      @morpheus6364 Před 5 lety

      the Q2u is a great beginner mic, but this mic is a much better mic.

    my encore 200 is super weak sounding. yes the phantom power and the LED is on. I like my shure sm58 way better. maybe there is something wrong with mine, but I'll be selling it as soon as I can. not sure why you are not comparing it to the sm58. it's a vocal mic. the sm57 is used more often for instruments. maybe there's something wrong with mine, but I don't think there is.
