Unless you are skilled at apologetics don't waste time, just point them to famous converts - like Steve Ray, or Scott Hahn, etc. Fact is the comment sections on Catholic sites are all too often unmoderated and swamped with trolls. A new convert does not need to be swimming in that sort of poison. St Francis de Sales, pray for us.

Some Catholic slogans I have heard: Be ready so you don't have to get ready! (although I always thought of this as a sort of memento mori - we don't know when we will die, so be ready now!) Get holy or die trying. Too blessed to be stressed, too anointed to be disappointed. Also, I think St. Francis of Assisi had a temptation from the devil in this sort of way. St. Francis was working in the garden, and the devil asked him what he would do if the apocalypse happened right now! He said calmly, "keep pulling these weeds" rebuffed satan!! He was doing what he was supposed to be doing! If we are always trying to be holy and strive for heaven, then really what does it matter to us what happens and when it happens? Always do the Divine Will of God in every breath and heartbeat and love Him always! Be prudent, be innocent, and devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

However I woke up, during the lockdowns, I witnessed how the counterfeit really buckled was filled with fear, and did not represent the values of psalm 90 Douay-Rheims, 91 in the counterfeit. I discovered a real Catholic church with a real faith, who said the Latin Mass. Part of my discovery was that of a wonderful bishop by the name of Arch Bishop Lefevre, who had the foresight many years ago, to stand strong against the lies of the counterfeit. I'm so happy to be home.

Do not be afraid, just pray the rosary often and attend the Latin Mass when you can. Pick up a book on the Council of Trent, which spells out everything from mid-1500's forward. Also, Cardinal Athenasius Schneider (here) wrote the book "Credo" which spells out how to approach modern controversies. Welcome to the club; it's a rich and rewarding journey.

Everything has batteries or is "smart" Maybe the 3 days is them unleashing the dark matter🤔 And that "dark matter" will feed off of everything electric, which will lead to a black out as well. We need to stay in prayer to fight the dark matter, for protection. Dark matter makes people crazy. I don't know, just a thought. I feel that they plan on unleashing it, that's why they're filling their bunkers daily. God created the firmament to keep the dark matter out. I thought the Three Days made sense. I kept the instructions.
I don't deny it, now. However, Bishop Schneider has a heart for God and right faith, knowledge and Wisdom. He is so correct that we-don't-know, and he warns us about surety and to Trust God, as Lot's wife was warned not to look back at Sodom, but Did.
Mostly, if it were true, I reasoned that man deserved such a calamity and The Warning suggested it may be due, but Bishop's truth takes precedence in how to ponder certain revelations. Faith and reliance is in God, alone and not in uncertainty. I will keep my blessed candle and God is God, whether its use is ever necessary. We wouldn't want to rely on such an event as the "Rapture" is relied on by protestants, in the way they understand it.

I had watched the Q & A, a few hours before watching this video, and I have to say that I felt a great sense of relief when hearing the good Bishop's answer to the question.
For a number of months, I have mulled over the 3 days prophecy, and it has led when I did, to an interior anxiety, while not overwhelming, but distinctly uncomfortable. However, every time I prayed about it, I was left with the strong sense, that it is not something for me to be anxious about. Part of my prayers frequently include asking that I not be misled by anything posing as an angel of light.
Mr. Kennedy, I appreciate your ability to flesh out details, because I'm frequently unable to do so unless I can find a quiet spot with pencil, paper, and some good reference books. That opportunity is not afforded often, so I truly appreciate your informed candor.

This video is so timely and I'm glad I got to see what the Bishop said. I know I can't be the only one seeing a hard push of certain unapproved apparitions as of late. Even some Catholic personalities are pushing them, much to my dismay. There is a fervor around them and questions/doubts are not permitted. If one questions about said seers and their visions you are attacked by those who follow them as if they were a pack of wolves. A person who is a leader in one of the movements around a particular set of seers lambasted me online because I questioned. He asked me, because St. Pio supposedly believed in said seers, if I was holier than St. Pio? What a bizarre thing to say. This behavior is not indicative of something that comes from God. I have traditional Catholic friends that have experienced the same thing. It's unsettling to see that. It makes me think of the verses in the Bible that address false prophets. Anything from God does not rob one of peace.

It took me away from God by getting into self- reliance attitude, it took me away from god by selfishness of it - we who know are fine, the rest is doomed, it took me away from god by this new agey mindset of divination...
I never thought of it as being possibly not literal... I also never thought of approved saints teachings not being the same as teachings of the church even though not creating offense to the doctrine of faith.
F.Schneiders comment on this as well as yours is one of the sanest and healthiest comments I have heard. It put me in shame by showing the mindstes I fell for as well as it calms me down because the literal view of it is incredibly anxiety producing...

There are many places in Holy Scripture that not only don't give me any peace of mind, but cause me much inner anguish and turmoil. Parts of the Book of Revelations are prime examples of that.
Are the 10 Plagues of Egypt literal or metaphorical? Was there a literal 3 days of darkness in Egypt? If it was literal, then God can do it again in this age. If people get caught in the grocery store when it happens, it's the will of God that they not survive it; but if they're faithful, scapular wearing Catholics, they are going to a better place. I'm of the private opinion that God has selected a holy remnant to survive the 3 Days of Darkness around whom He will restore His Holy Catholic Church. They will be in their homes at the right time. Divine Providence will take care of that.
Noah's flood is one example of a place in Scripture that shakes me up, when I think of all the children that were destroyed by it. Adults are different but the children is where it causes me some pain. Another place is in 1 Samuel 15:
      7) Saul defeated the Amal′ekites, from Hav′ilah as far as Shur, which is east of Egypt. 8) And he took Agag the king of the Amal′ekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.
      32) Samuel said, “Bring here to me Agag the king of the Amal′ekites.” And Agag came to him cheerfully. Agag said, “Surely the bitterness of death is past.” 33) And Samuel said, “As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women.” And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the Lord in Gilgal.
Are those "literal" historical events? Or are they metaphorical? It says that Saul "utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword." All the children, women and senior citizens executed by the sword. Literally? Or metaphorical?
How would we feel about a modern day prophet doing that today? Taking a sharp sword and hacking to pieces the king or leader of a neighboring nation?
With respect to your reference to the words of St. John the Baptist, it's interesting to note that they were preached to the unconverted who had not yet received Jesus. They teach a lesson to those who would save souls today, that there are preparatory works to entering the Church; things to be done to prepare souls for the coming of the Lord into their hearts and lives.

I enjoy listening to the different perspectives as I listen and learn. I tend to prep in the physical sense more economically - inflation, food cost/availability etc. As I have listen to both the secular news and Catholic news, I sense a coming merger of the two.
I have wondered myself if the “illumination of consciousness” is much like what is termed as the “great awakening.” I know that for me, it has resulted in more concentration of living the faith rather than existing with faith. I remember very clearly the day and moment my mind truly broke free of the “matrix” if you will. It was as if time truly did stand still.
While I am curious about the three days of darkness, I in no way fear it. We have our blessed candles, but rather than save them, we make use of them - lighting when we say the rosary as a family. For myself and my family it is in God’s hands what will transpire, we will work on living our faith as we were meant to.
I have taken my awakening and am working on awakening the rest of my extended friends and family. Baby steps for them - both secularly and in faith. I feel almost that two go hand in hand. Awakening to the realities of our world and what has been occurring will result in returning to the foundations of our faith. ❤🙏🏼

I agree. I light my bessed candles almost daily. I try to get a bunch of candles blessed February 2nd that will last me the whole year. I have Holy water at my home and exorcized salt to cook dinner with. I love sacramentals and I love making my home as Holy as I can. All my children say the Rosary daily and we've all consecrated ourselves to Our Lady and St. Joseph. We don't do this because we are afraid, we do it because we love God and want to be obedient. It's always prudent to have extra food on hand and ways to purify water. Things can go wrong and it's best to have prepared a little. The wise virgins had oil enough. That's what I'm trying to do. Keep your candles lit. I have one lit in front of St. Joseph right now to honor his feast day! Blessings

Fascinating and consistently brought up as it is, there was a part of me that felt that it almost sounded like a creepypasta. I also should've considered the possibility that a lot of these visions are more on the metaphorical side than the literal. And you're right, ultimately we need to focus on God (and scripture). Prophesies, mystics, how to prepare and stock up on supplies is completely out of control. We need to prepare our souls with prayer and penance. Many people just like to jump on the bandwagon so, knowing the darkness happened in the Old Testament, we can keep that in mind - but not let it eat us up as it seems to be doing. Bishop Schneider being so level headed and sincere is a good guide. Peace...

Another Catholic commentor (Uniquely Catholic, I believe is the channel). had a wonderful thought about the three days of darkness in light of St Teresa de Avila's writings on the dark night of the spirit, and the soul. What if these three days are to separate us penitentially in the way that true dark nights separate us from sin and sinful attachments and make us totally reliant on God for everything? I thought that was a brilliant but not literal way of looking at the three days of darkness, What if they are days of spiritual darkness to clean us interiorly and make us ready for complete trust, reliance and unity with the Lord? So we are suffering three days of darkness of the soul and the blessed candle is the Light of Faith for us to see God's work in us as we pray and become detached from earthly things? I have held on to that interpretation because it makes perfect sense to me.

I love Bishop Schneider, and he makes a very important point that our first duty is to trust God in all circumstances. When I've run across the messages of proven-to-be false mystics/visionaries, they often offer some sort of special way of guaranteed protection from all harm in a chastisement, which is very appealing to the fallen nature that wants to avoid suffering and preserve its natural life. The prophecies of the three days of darkness aren't formally approved by the Church, but the reality that several different mystics have mentioned this seems to give it some weight, although we still don't have to believe them. I'm open to the idea there could be more of a metaphorical meaning to the prophecies, or even contain both literal and metaphorical meaning. I'm preparing in both ways -- I have blessed candles and making sure I have a way to cover all my windows but mostly I'm focused on spiritual preparation, because that's important even in this moment with all the evil in the culture and the Church right now not to get sucked into despair, bitterness or other sins and to remain faithful at all costs.

So now I am not afraid because even if it is literally true, I know I will be provided with whatever is necessary for my salvation. As Catholics, we already have everything needed for salvation but are we making use of them? How many professing Catholics still attend weekly Mass? How many even bother with Confession anymore?? How many still pray??? Being in a state of grace isn't optional...neither is ongoing repentance, mortification and almsgiving. I once almost consume myself in reading them, particularly this one website that talks about the series of events that are in line with the Book of Revelation. This gives me a lot of anxiety and got entangled with them. And if you really think of it, there should be a lot of discernment that needs to be done. We have the Church and her Sacraments. That is what we need. And whether or not these private revelation happens or not, it is the state of the soul that matters and we should always be right with God. I have begun to notice and increasing number of Catholic end of times type videos on CZcams that seem to be focusing on scarier and scarier prophesies. I think their true intention is for people to shape up, do penance, amend & atone, but there seems to be an underlying zeroing in on instilling fear and a leading to sense of hopelessness. I just doubt God plays head games with us, He loves us. And while we may need to be corrected when we go astray, I don't think He uses tactics that drive obsessiveness & anxiety. Go to confession, pray pray pray, partake in the sacraments regularly, love God with your whole heart & soul , as well as your neighbors and it'll be ok.

I will stick with the prophecies of Bl Anne Marie Taigi, Bl Marie Julie Jahenny (stigmatist), and St. Padre Pio (stigmatist). I realize we don't have to believe it. It seems that Bishop Schneider is a good bishop but he is not an Archbishop Lefebvre. He is still a Conciliar bishop. As you say, he is still able to go to any Novus Ordo parish and is in good standing with them. I don't think that is as positive as you seem to think it is. Do you think that St. Athanasius thought that it was good that bishops were in good standing with the Arians when the entire Church "groaned to find itself Arian"?
As far as anxiety goes, the end of the world is certain and fiery and horrible but it will come without a doubt. and many people have anxiety about that. Also the Antichrist is certain and causes anxiety amongst the faithful.
That +Schneider says this, doesn't matter to me he is not SSPX and there isn't much reason to cling to the words of anyone who doesn't have that basic thing down pat. (I mean, no Novus Ordo and no agreeing that it is en par with the true Mass.) That you belabor it, is disappointing. When Padre Pio and Anne Marie Taigi and Marie Julie Jahenny spoke of the Three Days, they always spoke of the great need for penance, prayer and gave every example of it to follow.
And lastly, saints, if you consider Bishop Scneider a saint, do not always know if a message or apparition is true. St. John Vianney did not believe in Our Lady of LaSalette which is approved by the Church since.
Many of us who have been Traditional for many decades, 30, 40 years have believed that the Three Days would come and we haven't lost our Faith or our peace over it.
It is possible that the rulers of this world will want us to think that the grid has gone down and that we are being invaded by aliens rather than the saints' prophecies of the Three Days of Darkness when demons will be unleashed from Hell to roam the earth. Anything supernatural, they always endeavor to explain away with nature.

I was totally unaware of the 3 DoD prophecy details. I'm Catholic. 3 mos ago I became so physically & spiritually sickened by news of the world's wellbeing I HAVE HAD TO COMPLETELY BLOCK ALL INCOMING ..HEARING & SEEING THE world all those souls deceived by outer media & inner by our own hearts. When the soul's will is corrupt and a heart so deceitful then one's whole life is messed up & this what I have sorrow. I stay in the Present & am consciously aware of being in the Presence of God. I've deliberately cloistered myself but I'm not a recluse. I have experienced a conscious improvement in my behavior...the fruit of self control given me, by Grace through faith, from the Holy Spirit. You are correct in your interpretation of the 3 DoD prophesy, I am quiet & always eager to hear the voice of the Blessed & Holy Trinity speak. Galatians 3:3-11 has Paul telling us to stay calm, like come on & display some measure of self control. I will tell you this, Catholics worldwide are going to be savagely persecuted by those who ARE what they have been taught, decades & decades ago, the Catholics to be.

I too was filled with anxiety over the three days of darkness, mainly because I wondered if I would be able to get my much-needed medication during those days. What about people who have to go out and milk their cows? Or if you’re traveling cross-country by train when the 3days hit? Of course, we believe that God will provide the means for people in a state of grace to overcome these situational difficulties.
BTW Regarding the blessed, beeswax candles, they can be purchased, already blessed, in Catholic shops, like places where medals, crucifixes, Catholic books, rosaries, etc., are sold. They are a bit expensive- the one I bought was $12.50. But if one candle will last all three days, I guess $12.50 isn’t bad. Also, the store where I bought my candle is in a state where I went to visit family members. But places like Montana with few Catholics- in fact with few people- may not have stores where these candles may be purchased.

Padre Pio told Friars standing around him, that they would not see Mary's Immaculate Heart prevail, but that the 10 year old children here would in 1963. I do believe Mary's Immaculate Heart will Prevail. I also believe God will chastise the earth. All phophecy like 3dd can be mitigated or changed by God's Divine Will.
