Solid gameplay as ever! I was always a fan of the M1 carbine. I even preferred to use it over the Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk. 1 in Tunisia back in the day. A 9 man US rifleman squad roaming around the sand dunes in Tunisia. Good old times.
I’m inclined to agree but the no4 has much more power and feel like it’s more satisfying getting 10 kills with 10 shots but I’m a British man so kinda bias 😂
You say you don't get Tunisia very often. But looking at my own tier 2 USA stats, i get all campaigns quite evenly. 22 for Normandy, 17 for Tunisia, 16 for Pacific, and only 7 battles for Ardennes
The flame Stuart 🔥 is op af if u just use driver seat. Yo get close fast, surprise them and roast them all. It even drifts..... a little . And fits in some points!
As allies main, I'm glad the M1 Car is a beast now. Perhaps the allies can dispute now the BR I - IV 2nd place of best infantry weapons now. Br V for now is quite hard to dispute (only the M2 and a Thompson are there).
@ 3:51 I would like to see Gaijin investigate the issue of AI becoming stuck or lost in an area because it's happened to me on so many occasions since the recent update and has happened to my friends. On another note, I wish Gaijin would make map boundaries more defined, such as how far tanks and armored units can be away; there's no accurate counter for those situations. For those claiming "player skill issue," I would ask how you resolve those particular issues. Say, for instance, if the issue could be resolved with vehicles, that's great, but what if all the vehicles are being used by other players who might not be paying attention to the situation or do not have the vehicles you might have to resolve the issue. Imo, it is a serious issue Gaijan should address because the game is an infantry based game and if the infantry can't deal with issues by themselves with a solid counter then how can the game remain fair and provide equal opportunities to engage opponents. My perspective is a more straightforward resolution by adapting both map boundaries (would be friendly and enemy map boundaries) into one. Regarding spawn protection, there can be an increased amount of time provided for spawn in units.
You’ve hit on a few ideas where the game can advance to that we have in real life. You mentioned wishing you could tell your bots to cover fire, etc. We do use stuff like that obviously to the point these days I can point my laser at a window and tell rifleman 1 watch that window, next guy that one and so on. We use commands like, “Watch and shoot” or “Await my order” and different rates of fire to control your sub unit. I’d love to see the ability where pre game you assign your guys to positions within say a fire support team and assaulters or a balanced fire teams approach. The Germans in WW2 would have a gun group with the MG, a JNCO and a third guy observing and passing extra rounds whilst the SNCO had the SMG and three pairs of riflemen to assault. When I was serving we’d have balanced teams of a commander, light support weapon and two riflemen. If you went into urban fighting you could place both LSW with the LCPL and the Cpl takes rest in pairs, etc. I’d love the ability to expand the game like this. That way your command in game could be, “Gun group, watch and shoot that point or even covering fire” you’d indicate as you do in game and “Assault Group, follow me or attack that point” like you can already. At long last you might get some use out of the bots.
Marine? Similar stuff in the Army. Sustain, rapid, cyclic... Supress x area, etc. Honestly with the infantry squads in this game being 9 soldiers, you could have a legitimate squad with two fire teams. IDK what WW2 era squad composition was like, but it would definitely help if you could control soldiers by fire team.
The m1 carbine was always better considering the only axis semi auto is the armaguerra another argument to add as to why the axis volkstrum rifle should have its ranked dropped from br3 to br2 as
I’ve always liked the M1 carbine, even with the old sights. In the right situation it shreds and plinking headshots at range is always fun! Just needs the slightest ROF buff. I mainly run the M1 garand now, but carbine still has a slot for my AT gunners. Also, the BSA Thompson sights are now garbage. Much prefer them before the change. It was a sold BR2 smg but now seems.. off.

Yes it is! I had a pile of maxxed guns just waiting to be used. I think the sites help a ton.

Console player here with this update I loved the iron sights being tweaked the way they are but I wish the grease gun got the same
