I think most people, Sigma's included, who are going somewhere in life, wouldn't waste the time, or the mental bandwidth, hanging out on social media for hours each day. I wake up every morning with 32 hours of things I want to accomplish, and only 16 hours to do it. Unless social media is contributing to my goals, then why bother?
I do think this video describes a lot of how I see the world. Many people deride the Sigma idea and say that it is just a more palatable label for introverts and the socially awkward. I would disagree completely. I can be the life of the party in a room of people. I have the skills, I just choose not to do it on a regular basis. Again, I have better things to do than hang around for hours having a bunch of shallow conversations with vapid people. I've also been wildly successful in sales roles in the past, hardly the domain of the truly awkward introvert.
Anyway, yes I think Sigma ideas are increasingly the exception in a groupthink world. I would rather be "weird" than join the ranks of the normies though. My only concern is that lone wolves will struggle when society collapses, which is looking more and more likely in the coming years. A bunch of low IQ collectivists will be dangerous, even if that lone wolf outranks all of the group members individually. Perhaps Sigma will find groups to lead, but for those that don't survival could be a challenge.

I’ve been in sales, a manager and successful. All while being an introverted Sigma that has his own way or path of thinking of ways things could be accomplished.

I agree with the comment. All this oneupmanship and “dark side” nonsense is not in the sigma personality. I would guess nine out of ten guys who claim to be sigmas simply aren’t sigmas.
I’m only on you tube, I know nobody is interested in my life and not interested in anybody’s else’s life.
I’ve been referred to as odd many times, But one and only one time a friend said I have an unusual way of looking at things. And yes we do enjoy our alone time as I’m doing right now. I’m supposed to be out to brunch with 6-8.
When I go to places alone like restaurants, the mall, etc, I get weird looks. That’s how I know I’m standing out. I’m a sigma male without even knowing . I honestly didn’t know I was in that category.
The "ghost town" analogy of the social media platforms is spot on. I've found that most sigma brothers will use these outlets to express what would be considered by general social standards as outlandish. These posts will usually have content outside the creator's expertise, a deeper search for meaning, e.g., a typical developer in the IT field would usually brag on and on about their professional accomplishments on LinkedIn, while a sigma (might?) try to inquire about said projects, only to get superficial answers or completely ignored. Not seeking validation in likes, followings, etc. Mostly seeking other sigma temperaments with which to "rub gray matter."
I'm going to have to choose a real life over a digital life. turn off your phone and computer and I hope you don't have a TV but if yes, that too....sit and look around out the windows and around your place and your things...that is your life
We just tend to see what's coming a minute sooner than many. We're not getting weirder, we're adapting to an enweirdening world. I keep telling folks: this is the LEAST WEIRD your life will ever be from now on. And you can keep repeating that forever.

I think the problem is the attitude of all sorts of people claiming to be sigma.
This is beyond a trend, it's become a way of projecting masculinity for some... It is their way of being Alpha.
Weird is certainly NOT the way to describe Sigma tendencies. I could settle with uncanny or eccentric...
Essentially, everyone is weird. Life is weird. This Universe is weird. Things are weird, given the right context all weirdness melts away with understanding. It may even remain a bit awkward, but at least it isn't a disturbingly uncomfortable type of enigmatic.

Often not an easy path, that's for sure, but infinatly preferable to being an npc robot imo. Attractiveness goes far beyond visual. Learn to love yourself in small ways and others will notice. It's not a curse, just a less traveled path. You're not alone on your journey, it's just less crowded. Taking care of a rescue dog helped me a lot. I strive to give him my best self every day, and he does the same, and I think he could care less what I look like. The loudest " boos" usually come from the cheapest seats.
Please don't imply we're CHOOSING to be this way. We're not!! We don't have any choice!! Please don't romanticize it!
