    Nice clip. Looks like an Olwell Bamboo in F perhaps? Don't hear too much triple tonguing like this in Irish Trad, but of course he pulls it off flawlessly.

    Wow! Quite a cool clip here... It's neat to see how much his style has morphed over the years. Lot of triple-tonguing here, whereas it's a lot more refined these days.
    Really awesome to see earlier videos like this! Also quite funny to see him with all the hair, since I'm so used to the bald man we all know and love! :P

    Although this kind of Irish music (i.e. heavily ornamented and "avant-garde") rarely grabs me, I can't help but respect the flawless technical ability of Brian Finnegan.

  • @thefireaflame
    @thefireaflame Před 12 lety +2

    He always plays the Moving Cloud with heaps of triple tonguing and flutter tonguing, but I think he has tweaked it over the years so his version of it even two or three years after this clip was even nicer. It's a great clip, and he looks even younger than he is in it. Anyone know if it is the Late Late show or something else??

    Потрясающе! Интересно, почему он сделал выбор исключительно в пользу вистла?. Ведь у любого вида поперечной флейты, диапазон шире, да и вообще, тнхнических возможностец больше, чем у свирелевых (блок флейта, вистл). Мог бы и совмещать. Но ему виднее, он мастер. Bravo, msestro!
