Wow I do take the foods I can get to eat for granted. I never knew Strawberries took this long to grow. Many thanks to the farmers for doing the hard work and feeding the human populations.

Strawberries don't usually get grown from the seeds, they clone themselves. If need be, a single plant can produce up to 10-20 children in a season. Still, looking after even a small strawberry patch is quite labor intensive.

It's about 100% "illegal" peasants that are brought by the farmers from South of the Border. Back- breaking work.

@@AroundTheWorldWithEase Thankfully, the birds in my region don't know the strawberries are edible. Lizards and a whole host of insects do, unfortunately. But most of the damage comes from the fungal diseases, flower-eating bugs and I don't know how it's called in English, Cetonia Aurata larvae that eat the roots.
Last year I uprooted and replanted a dilapidated, overgrown strawberry patch (about 3 by 3 yards) with about 300-400 plants on it, old and known good local variety. It sure was backbreaking, the whole digging, planting, fertilizing and then trying to keep it all alive through a summer drought but seeing it forming potato-like bushes and starting to bloom in earnest makes it all worth it.

      Hey, the fact is:
Jesus died for you. He died on the cross for your sins. The Bible says we are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) and so as humans we all deserve death since we have all sinned. But Jesus took on all of our sins on the cross so that we could have a relationship with the Father. We just have to accept this gift. We don't have to do big things. We trust in what Jesus has done for us and not trust in our own bad lives. Jesus ransomed us. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). The question when you stand before God is whether he knew you. Build a relationship with Jesus. Spend time with him, for example in prayer or reading the Bible. There is power only in the name of Jesus, not in the name of Muhammad, Buddha or Krishna. Jesus changed my life. He proved himself to me. Especially through the healings he did to me and through me on another person. He loves you, give him your life today. You never know when it's too late. Just try this prayer:
Jesus, today is the day that I give you my life. I believe that you died on the cross for me and rose again after three days. I am a sinner and need you as a savior. I repent and ask for your loving guidance in my life. In your mighty name, Jesus Christ, amen
Convince yourself. Jesus wants to save you but you have to open your heart. You will not regret it. If you put your faith in Jesus, you will be saved. If he can change my life, then he can change yours too.
I am certain that whatever we suffer in this world is nothing compared to the glory that God will give us (Romans 8:18).

Pro tip. Leave the seeds on the paper towel. You can then cut those paper towels up into small squares. Those little squares can be planted easily and the paper towel helps with germination.

If you plant strawberries and keep the area around them clean from weeds, and the dirt is soft enough, they will naturally spread out by sending out new plants from something like a long new stem that stretches out and digs down into the dirt nearby. I don’t know what the technical term for this is, but it’s like those “spider plants” that people grow decoratively which produce “baby plants” that hang off the original plant.

Despite being wheatherized, we had a feral cat that kept sleeping in the container where are strawberries were and i think she killed them. So hopefully using your method we can get some more strawberry plants to come up. This was extremely helpful...I was trying to scrape them off one by one at first lol
