I've always thought the events of Mass Effect's "First Contact War" would be phenomenal to experience in some kind of way, so I've been dabbling with things in Unreal Engine 5 to see if a series or short film is doable. Maybe something interactive, even. We'll see! Support goes a long way in getting things going :)

You are right, the -Relay 314 Incident- First Contact War would be interesting to explore. Perhaps even more so than whatever ME4 is going to do.

I’m waiting for the next Dragon Age before setting expectations, but honestly, there were countless stories they could’ve explored. A retcon-including future is interesting but idk how they’ll do it without pissing people off.

​​@@jonathansud Have you heard about Exodus? A lot of people are hailing it as a true spiritual successor to Mass Effect, since those games aren't being made by any of the people who made the original one anymore.
But Exodus IS being made by those people. They've rounded up a bunch of Bioware old guard, the people who made the original Mass Effect to make it. I'm honestly looking forward to that more than the next ME

@@michealdrake3421 I actually just heard about it a week or so ago. Seeing Drew Karpyshyn’s name would’ve been enough for me-the man’s work is outstanding all around-but the trailer blew me away! Smaller studios are up to some great things these days, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they pave a new renaissance of gaming.

Always thought this would be such a cool point in mass effect lore to have a game! Would be a much smaller focused game world than the others but I think it would be great.
Experiments, battles, and politics. All of which introduce humans to the galaxy.

Right, like, let me be a common Alliance Joe! It’d be a gritty breath of fresh air to contrast the “superhero-ness” of Shepard’s story. Hell, I’d even welcome a first-person perspective.
