When people question an artist's prices it's kinda frustrating🙄. Cause let's say one mushroom takes her 30 minutes to an hour to make. If she only charges $9 then she is legitimately only making $9 an hour minus the shipping costs, minus the paint supplies cost. Being a small business artist isn't easy and you dont make as much as people think. So be nice! 👍

I love these but you could definitely change things that might help the smoothness, like you could use a blender to shred the paper and instead of just water mix a bit of glue into it so that the paper sticks together better, it’s basically just paper mache. Also using gesso before the paint or more layers of paint will help it smooth out a bit more :)
You can also do it with paper, i know the struggle ive made paper from this before so this is gonna be even more difficult (im up for the challange tho!)
Ive been thinking i could make them and make them to bundles with like 6 or 7 big mushrooms and maybe some freebie small mushrooms and id problably sell the bundles like 10€ with 6€ to shipping and i would profit 4€
The only thing I’m confused about, is why does the original girl use the word recycled...I can’t think of any used toilet paper or tissue paper that could be reused.🧐

I think (at least in the video I saw) they cut it up into super tiny bits and then added water afterwards, maybe that's why it's so chunky?
