This is an amazing podcast! I couldn't believe how much you covered! I was diagnosed in the 90s with "visual dyslexia" - the psych didn't tell the school because his diagnosis wasn't a "thing" back then. Girls didn't have ADHD or Autism, either. As an adult (2024), I finally got an AuDHD and Bipolar1 diagnosis. I had no idea how closely related these were. After recently learning about Aphantasia, it all fits! I had a horrendous time in school and so did my children. Knowing that this all goes hand in hand and understanding that the US school system is built in a way that is designed to benefit the kids without these learning disabilities, makes me feel a little more validated.
