Ok, something very strange is happening here. I've been testing this for a bit as I thought it was near impossible, plus I'm a scientist IRL, so just had try to understand this. I'll share my tests and findings here, but long story short, this fast shield regen appears to require Aegis activation as a catalyst, but continues to work even when Aegis is removed from the build. Aegis has to proc once which is the catalyst, at least from my testing. Without Aegis, and with full battery (without 4 activation), the shield regen (of course, with the mods shown in video) doesn't activate instantly and I die fast. My first test after seeing the video was to see if Aegis is needed at all. So I went to Mot, without Aegis, and insta died. Then I thought, maybe it's something about the simulacrum. So I went to the same place as shown in video, with my original setup without Aegis, and insta died. Then I put on Aegis, and it proc'd almost constantly, keeping me alive pretty much forever. The first proc appeared delayed, but after the first one, it would be active almost all the time. Now here is where it gets weird, I then take off Aegis, and the shield regen is instant and I don't die. I then think, maybe since I didn't replace the arcane, the game still thinks it's there, so I put on energize instead...same thing...can't be killed. So then I thought, let's see if all mods are necessary. Without Aegis, but still unkillable, I removed vigi mod...then I died. However, with Aegis and with only fast deflection, I'm unkillable. I tried to only use Aegis and only vigilante vigor, but this was just not enough as I noticed some health loss, then eventually died. As I type out this long paragraph, my character is just getting shot over and over and not dying with only Aegis and fast deflection (and full battery). I also tested Aegis + fast deflection without full battery, and I died. So, not sure what is actually happening here, but an initial proc of Arcane Aegis appears necessary along with fast deflection and full battery. You do have to keep yourself alive with effort to get the first Aegis proc, but after that, its big chilling. Thanks Morning for showcasing this. I'll continue to do more testing and see if I get some better understanding. Also, please keep the videos coming, as I really enjoy them.

Oh my God, thank you! I think, you found the issue! I think Gauss shield-immortality is a bug and not the feature. Because build on video just do not work as it is. But adding Arcane Aegis somehow solves everything. Also Adding and removing Arcane Aegis to inherit it property working only in simulacrum, sadly.
I went into the simulacrum with the build without aegis and could not die to all heavy gunners, shield regen was too fast so idk what you guys are on about

@@Tricsterfull not sure what it might be but as I watched his video I put on the 2 mods he had for fast recharge shields and now i can’t die. Didn’t even do the tempest barrage build but put 2 mods and that was it

My dude, I used this build yesterday and it was awesome. I swapped in more duration in place of rolling guard, and it's a bit dicey at times on things like Netracells, but I can just pew pew my guns without much thought, unlike when I play protea or other Warframes I like where I feel like I am pressing a million keys constantly. Gauss is badass.
will this build work in level cap cascade?
I did a solo cascade run for 30mins quite comfortably. I think one of the acolytes may have killed me with a melee attack, but it wasnt that bad at all. You just have to get the initial aegis proc, then its easy.
U need the archon shards for the build? And what shards do you have and recommend?
Do you need vigilante vigor i have arcane aegis rank 5 and it works just fine with the other mod but im wondering if the higher the level enemies the weaker it gets
does this only works with gauss prime? i tried with normal gauss, 2 mods with full batt but it didnt work
Does it still work if you take Aegis off (all configs?), then go into the Simulacrum? As a peasant non-Aegis-haver, my shield gets blown away and never recharges during the gate. Is it related to Ability Strength (I had 100%), is it related to frame rate (mine is low)? All I know is I cannot replicate this with just Shield recharge mods.
I tested with both mods and arcane aegis in simulacrum, mot and the current mobile defence archon hunt mission. It seems to work just fine in the simulacrum with steel path modifier active, but when i hop in a mission the shield just doesn’t start recharging fast enough when i am not in a steel path mission. If aegis doesn’t proc, even with full battery i end up dying. I wonder if it’s tied to the amount of the damage you take as well as the amount of damage instances coming your way.

So what happens if you put Electric Elemental Ward on the shield recharge build? At least in the Simulacrum that would be a lot of pings going off.
Does it work agains instant damage? Like a lot of zombie dogs or bombards.
Could I use arcane barrier with aegis? With those two nods as well?
I really hope this doesn’t get nerfed. It’s not broken imo because it only works on Gauss, takes up 2 mod slots + 1 arcane slot, and you’re still vulnerable to melee, toxin and magnetic. Besides we have many other invulnerable/invisible frames. In a game where Revenant is a thing this should be no issue.

Do you have to push any buttons to activate this?
I can only replicate this with arcane aegis and it seems like a bug because the effect persist after you remove aegis.
Does this immortality work at level cap?
do you need ability strength for the regen to proc so fast?
It's Gauss' passive doing the work so stats have no effect

So to be truly immortal you need to add Arcane Resistance instead of Arcane Aegis, and you good to go?
Toxin damage can still kill you

I actually personally went to the simulacrum and tested. It works, no need to have Varzarin focus school equipped, the guardian break passive is just making it more reliable incase you have your kinetic plating on but forgot to turn off if not in redline, you have to focus on your battery, see which skills drain it to below full...
Most likely aegis isnt procing it just needs to proc once with your battery full not 100% but over the line and youre invincible without it
@@morning8590 your initial test showed that we did not "need aegis". I was basing it not working on that fact. after buying aegis, i realized it was absolutely necessary for it to work. and yes, the battery was full

Vazarin is not needed at all to make this work, only the 2 shield mods I showed :) guardian break and aegis just amps it even more, the 1st shocase I did was completely just those 2 mods, no vazarin or aegis, and the mission that I did I used guardian shell once, then never again
@@morning8590 My bad, the video is specifically for Gauss, but for other frames I think we still need guardian break to make this work?
@@Senses_ oh yea other frames will need that yea, gauss has special shields regen from passive that break the cap, other frames can kind of do this, but not as easily as gauss because other frames still have to adhere to the cap sadly 😢

Build was sick until I saw tempest barrage over thermal sunder 🤢
lol then use something else, pillage and tempest are both great since they dont rely on range, thermal sunder does not work well on this specific build due to the lack of range, but build a range version of this and your good to go :)
@@morning8590I know lol, I’m just a hydroid hater. I tried your viral tempest ne zha build before his augment came out and I felt a part of my soul die by even daring to subsume that ability onto something. Not a bad build by any means. Hydroid just big stinky. I’ll prolly just throw his thermal sunder augment or throw on xatas.
