Conan created this professional image of being a bit of a bully to his employees and has always played up the humor of that (and we all loved it!), but to hear Sona sincerely talk about what a great boss he is was really nice! The fact that he has so many employees who have stuck around for decades is really a testament to him!

That's part of Conan's legacy. It's the fact that some people have stuck with him from the very beginning, and that so many others have stuck with him for 25+ years. There has to be a good reason for that, and it likely has to do with Conan being a genuinely good person and boss.

She ought to love him. She has probably made a lot more money than any typical Production Assistant based on her on-screen time with Conan, and this is because Conan is such a creative and innovative guy who could see the entertainment potential in the back and forth between him and his staff. We all benefit in fact.

To me, Conan's legacy isn't so much the bits, but it's the people he's influenced. From his staff, to the comics he's had on the show, to everyday idiots like me who wouldn't have survived teenage-hood without his self deprecation and lessons on how to be funny. Conan saved my life, in a very real way, and I hope he understands that his legacy is one that has truly saved people.

"Conan" was there all the nights, from personal moves across the country, through divorce, through births and deaths in my life.
Could always rely on Conan to give me a laugh/smile, especially on days where I didn't have much to smile about.

The emotion from Sona at 7:26 and the following seconds as she starts to describe what it has been like working for Conan is palpable. And no-one deserves that like Conan does. I've always enjoyed him moreso than all the other hosts (close second is Craig Ferguson) and from all these clips and from the podcast I finally know why. Conan really cares, he is genuine, he wants people around him to thrive, he has a crazy respectable work ethic and he never makes it about himself, except for comedy sake.
Conan and his employees have created something admirable and what a lot more of us ought to aspire to. I'm rambling a bit, but who cares. I love Conan and his relationship with Sona, Bley, Matt, etc.

Conan O'Brien was my late night favorite to laugh and relax. I hold Conan O'Brien to Johnny Carson in the same favorite late night talk shows. Thank you Conan for bringing laughter to so many folks! Thank you for your hard work!

Very nice heartfelt clip… good on Conan… and Yes… his work lives on on the internet and all his work and efforts and massive creativity and intelligence live on and on for us all to enjoy and appreciate… I’ve found a lot of his stuff during this pandemic and have definitely become more respectful and appreciative of him and all his staff and their work. Blessings!

Podcasts seem like Conan's side-calling. Like, if he wasn't built for TV, his humor and voice would have been built for radio/podcasts.

A large part of Conan's legacy is as the true successor to Letterman, just as Letter man was the true successor to Carson. The person who takes over the show name and time slot on each channel doesn't matter.

Wish you all the best in the world, Conan. It's hard to express how much joy you've added to my life.
It's probably not what you intended, but you've made an impact all the way to Sweden (yes, I know you prefer Finland, but you are forgiven!)
I've been following you for almost 20 years (no FOMO... Get it? No FO-... Nevermind), and you're undoubtedly the Carson/Letterman of our generation.
Thanks for providing us with more than just a good laugh throughout the years.
Even when tragedy struck, I came to listen to you. You always said the right things and reassured us that we'll all be OK.
You're a mensch; a gentle, orangeheared giant, with a mischievous sense of humor and a good heart. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you decide to do next! 😁
My only regret is that I never got to see you live. Perhaps one day, though...!
Thank you for the laughs, Conan! ❤
