Honestly? Kinda mad at everyone who has a nice store near them that sells Hot Toys etc. I would LOVE to go to this toy store. Know what I'm NOT doin? Driving 12 hours to make that happen. I'll spend more money on the figure I want...it'll be more worth my time.
I'm bummed out we got Fives and Echo over a Waxer and Boil as Im a bit overwhelmed with the blue paint at this point BUUUUT these are still sick and I am absolutely copping them! Nice thing about Echo too is his face is generic enough you can use it on any clone body :P

35:21 I think InArts release time for the Joker was pretty decent, but after that their expected release dates has been getting longer and longer for the figures to be released on time. Maybe they should take a page out of Hot Toys and learn from them on how to do better in terms of production and meeting deadlines. I got my InArt Joker 3 months after its initial release which to me is pretty normal since Hot Toys is around the same timeframe. I’ve seen people getting their Gandalf’s in the beginning of summer so what’s to say that InArts Harry Potter line will be pushed back until December of next year for their releases on those figures?
I don't see a problem with innarts release schedule, in the UK we have to wait 6 months for the official release of hot toys after sideshow ship them in the US & we get to pay over $100 more than US for supporting local suppliers
The only thing that Keco never pointed out, was that he had an opportunity to confront Jon about this and never did. he was not there. Also with the artisan figures and hot toys rooting hair, we don’t Yet no how long those figures are taking. Hot toys has an advantage Because they release other things while the rooted figures are maybe taking as long as in art is taking

Keco was invited first, yes. I wasn't aware that he spends Sundays with his wife prior to booking the interview, and it was too late to move the date, unfortunately. He missed that one, but hopefully the next time we'll be able to book a time that works for everyone. Keco and I also have fundamentally different views on the goals of those who host an interview, which we have discussed. But I would never try to prevent him from asking the questions he wanted to ask unless I felt they were in bad taste, which his aren't. But to be fair, it's not his fault he couldn't attend. He's in a loving marriage and wants to dedicate a day to spending time with his wife. I didn't know this beforehand, so a scheduling conflict arose.
I'm happy with Inart's schedule and way of doing business. Gives me enough time to budget and allocate funds across multiple 1/6 manufacturers (against an inflationary landscape with high mortgage payments) and provides me with a very high quality product at the end of the day. I'm not a big fan of influencer batches, but if that's an Asian Market thing and a byproduct of the whole end-to-end process, then I guess I'll reluctantly accept that. What I certainly have an issue with is Jon miscommunicating release dates. On my end I add 3-4 month on top of when he says the first batch will be out, and then another 5 months to when I'll get it. However, a lot of collectors continue to take Jon's comments on face value, which ultimately ends up in dissapointment. He just needs to articulate when exactly the 100 fig influencer batch goes out and when someone in the states or Australia can expect to get theirs. Otherwise, pretty happy with Inart!
Considering this is an anniversary year for a lot of IPs I would love if Hot Toys announced Guardians 1 2.0s cause I don't have any guardians other than Nebula. Definitely would be cool to get Artisans of the OG 6 Avengers from the first movie although I won't be getting them cause I am more than happy with the endgame shelf representing the OG 6 with Thanos. Long shot hope: Diecast Starboost. Batman is also an anniversary so Adam West 2.0? Maybe George's so we could complete live action Batman before James' entry. AND Terminator. Definitely a DOPO if he's announced. As for Fives and Echo. They look incredible. Special Forces clones is so badass. I understand Keco wanting these to be a bit more limited but I'm hoping they're not. Right now, finances and space are preventing me from jumping on those but hopefully if I get promoted this year then I have a bit more room to maneuver. But yeah Will, definitely watch Clone Wars. I wish there was a definitive guide as to which episodes you could skip cause they're just filler but yeah it's definitely worth the watch
I do understand Keco's rationale/logic on figs and shows, but it's still reductive thinking and I'm with Natalie. Completionism is also a reductive OCD part of collecting. There's absolutely zero wrong with an eclectic collection. Who gives a crap what other anal retentive people on the spectrum (which is also us) think. It's about what it means to YOU. And anything else is elitist/snobbish. And getting to the point where the figs themselves are secondary to or dependant on lines and "the collection" to me is the forest for the OCD trees. Just go collect coins or some Sh!t. And hell, I'm an artist. I've done comics. I work on CBMs. Some of the stuff I collect IS for the artistry of the headsculpts/individual characters. I do have the same ocd tendency to want everything to co-ordinate on the shelf. But the artistry of both the sources and the figs themselves overwhelms it for me. There's room for all types and the last thing we need Keco mate is sniffing at one kind of collecting and making things more niche and judgmental (beyond things like quality) than they already are! My 2c. I also think it's a bit gross that none of the CZcamsrs actually can be bothered to find out or even namecheck (it's generally on the box and web posts) who the sculptors/artists are. It's not much of an effort. And the cornerstone of why we pay all this cash for this stuff. But then again when we decry anything less than perfect as a disaster joke and other hyperbolic terms, maybe it's a good thing. We're just so spoiled these days I reckon. And then there's all the CZcamsrs complaining constantly when final runs are softer than initial/prototype resin or whatever headsculpts (well duh) but not investigating exactly why that is/knowing about the actual process. But pontificating and judging every time a figure comes out regardless... it's not just Inart that need to pick up their game if they're to be taken seriously! Rant over!
I would agree that there are certain amount of time that you are waiting for so long that you just get to the point that you cancel your order because you can't wait anymore and this company has proven so far that although they have proven great quality with their rooted hair and the way how to figure looks they still have problems with their shipping and delivery but I will say at least they're not as bad as toys Wonderland where you're purchasing these figures and have no idea when it's coming getting no response at least they're giving updates to the situation what is definitely something I need to improve on because at that point they're going to have a good amount of cancellations because you want to buy these figures and draw them and move on to the next one if you're not getting the figure of the certain amount of time then you're going to cancel out especially during these times when money needs to be selective

Figure of the Year so far? Darth Vader Kenobi by a mile. No question. There’s a bunch of other great figures and then there’s Vader in a class by itself.
So, basically to get a Tesla is easier than an 1/6 figure ? 😅 Because InArt Aragorn took a year and a half before they release their “ VIP batch “ and by the looks of it , it’s going to be another year to ship out all batches . Add to that the time some resellers will add to ship … At the end the wait time will be over 2 years and a half … Until there are people who excuse that behaviour of delays and then super slow release of the batches . Nothing is gonna change .
When it comes to the show She-Hulk wasn't that much of a fan of the show I didn't like the message that all guys are trash and the only one good with Daredevil only seen the series twice and haven't since that time but I was hoping that they would make a sixth scale figure out this because I've always wanted one as a fan of her in the comic books I day one pre-ordered this figure and then when it went to wishlist and it converted I bought a second one because I want to get Some suits to give her her lawyer look
I think one must consciously separate some figures from their source material if you want to enjoy them - Kenobi Vader, Cad Bane, repaint armor Boba Fett just to name a few. All of these are subjective of course but I do agree we should vote with our wallets. Disney won’t get my view count for their BS show. (Yes I feel vindicated) 😂 As per Fives & Echo, I’ll forgive your ignorance. Not everyone can sit through 100+ episodes of an animated show made for ten year olds and absorb all of the lore. Don’t let them bully you, Will. Even if you have 17 Pennywise figures. 🫡
