Gill I took and passed Music O Level in 1986, the penultimate year (1987 was the very last one, which my church choirmaster would have been in). Peter is a year younger than me, and he used to play the French horn. I am a violinist in a Church Music Group and violist in an amateur orchestra.
Didn't this work be the theme tune for a programme reviewing different events in year, say 1970 (the year I was born) on ITV. The work is in C major with a very grandiose theme and incredible major sixth chords! Wow!
