Ibuki has insane setups forcing you to guess permanently. Once she scores a knockdown it's so easy to pressure Abigail.... No back recovery after raida, EX kunai, good damage and stun potential. Ibuki is a frustrating character, doesn't need to take some risks to win with her (2MP EX KUNAI...).
When you play a very offensive character like Ibuki you just need to play you piano score like a robot. On the entire cast you can play the same way with her. When you play an defensive character you need to know perfectly the matchups, particulary with Abigail who is extremely slow and based on anticipation. For me Abigail is a great character, the funniest of the game. Does anybody knows the story of this baby cyclop on Abi's chest ? Is it a living creature or a puppet ? :)
not agreeing on this. Abigail is a natural counter to Ibuki because of the footsies and differences in damage (abi has around 1025 health while ibuki 925) and overall, a very good character which was never played on full potential (only coolkid and itabashi and stormkubo are maining him). Based on the nerf Abigail received recently, Capcom agrees it was dumb to have given so much options and power to such a character. They just wanted a very strong and crazy character, which required a good gambling mindset to play him effectively.

Tom Chuang me too. Xian bodied him in a mirror match when he was Yukadon but the two have never faced each other yet in arcade edition.

Lost Angeles isn’t Abigail cheap ? Characters with strong offensive abilities and high damage generally have lower health like akuma and cammy and ibuki. But Abigail has high health and high damage!

@@spiderjump I don't think he was cheap, per se, but he was very solid and caused a lot of trouble for certain characters. That being said, Itabashi is a monster with command throw characters. The S4 patch reduced his overall damage and tamed his V-System, though.
Yes, he has high stamina and damage, but... he has the worst defense and handling too.

Bullshit. I have been watching since SF4. Xian gets owned by competent grapplers. Snake Eyez was his wall in SF4. Itazan here. Its not the character.

He also has no 3 frame normal and no reversal. Yeah, slow walk speed, but he also has poor defensive options and his light confirms aren't that great or consistent anymore. He only has 1 real light confirm and the range isn't that consistent. Abigail punch just whiffs sometimes.
So he has issues when he's being rushed down.
You forgot he also has armor to make up for no 3 frame... v trigger is only two bars also
