The first one is a preliminary test which is held before awarding a learner's license. The second is the driving test which is conducted while you apply for a driving license, both private and commercial.
Driving Test
You can appear for the driving test after a month has passed from the date you received your learner’s license. This test has to be attempted after the above mentioned one-month period and before six months of the learner’s license issuing date.

Hlw sir ...sir mera ek problem hai ...main 2+4 wheeler ke kiye eksath apply kiya tha aur mai DL test dono hi diye the... lekin 4 wheeler main pass hua tha aur 2 wheeler main fail hogaya...fir uske bad hi mera LL invalid ho gaya tha to mai 2w ke liye fir se test nehi depaya tha...aur 4w pass wala paper mere pass hai to ab main kya karu...mai West Bengal se hun...pl help me sir very urgent...🙏🙏🙏
