I remember when I was 15, full on mental breakdown, was going through such a rough time and was being heavily mentally and physically abused by many people in my life. Sat in the garden and stared at the sky with this song playing and I just felt… amazing, I was so calm and I felt okay for the first time in so long.
Moments like those are how I know that some kind of God has to exist.

"No wise words gonna stop the bleeding" This is very real. Everyone tries to chip in with some cliche words of encouragement about how you'll get over it eventually, or how it's better off this way. Cool story bro but I can't just shut off my emotions and stop feeling awful after losing a person who can never be replaced. Maybe some people can, but I'm not built that way.

I’m sorry for replying so many months after you posted this and you probably won’t even see this, but just letting you know that I went through something similar (not with a boyfriend but a close friend) and so you are not alone. I’m so sorry for what happened and I feel your pain, but know that he was not the one for you. Somebody who truly loves you doesn’t leave the person who loved and supported them unconditionally. As much as it hurts, you have to move on from that person eventually and realize that they never cared. And it is nothing you did so please do not blame yourself. You are not the problem- he is. I have confidence that one day you will find someone who loves you forever, for who you are, and treats you right. Nobody deserves to go through something like that. Sending my love and stay strong 💜
