The guitar shown was played through a Fender Deluxe Reverb from 1978 and recorded with a Shure SM57 (left) and a Sennheiser 409 (right) . The backing tracks were recorded into a Fame Twin Looper on the same instrument right before the recording of each video. A Red Panda Tensor was used for additional loops and sounds and a Electro Harmonix Freeze for sustain effects.. Overdrive Sounds come from a Vemuram Jan Ray or a Greer Amps - Ghetto Stomp and the Greer Amps Lightspeed was used as a booster.
Tobias Hoffmann is a award winning guitar player from cologne, germany. He combines the sounds of Jazz, Blues, Rock, Surf and some experimental stuff. Check him out:

Dude. That's what happened. I play classical and folk violin (from age 7)...just scrolling.... never even imagined this stuff was possible. It's so beautiful I just had my mind blown. Who the f... Is this guy? Why didnt anyone tell me?
Never for a second did I got bored of a 20 minute loop. Goes to show the level of musician this guy is
I wonder what it's like to have all these wonderful musical ideas floating around in your head and to have the ability to express them so fluently. This guy is the most compelling guitarist today.
I found that a looper and sometimes playing the simplest things while layering them can unleash creativity a lot 🥰
You could literally take a ten second clip of this and have 6 months work trying to get it in your playing!

I have a Fender Jaguar MIJ Traditional Late 60s Sunburst (very limited 2023 special run). Although made in Japan, it has USA-made CTS pots, Switchcraft switches, and USA Fender plastic parts. Very impressed by fit and finish! No gaps. Can't believe it's so resonant. It has these wonderful pulsing harmonics. This might be the new heyday of Fender Japan.

Hi Simon. I agree. The ideas here, and that unlikely loop….. I’m thinking what the heck’s he going to be able to do over it? Surely it’s quite a limiting loop….. And then oh my god! I’m going away now to burn all my guitars and see what golf is like.
