    The sad reality is people are so worried about impressing other people they'll spend all their money with these massive car payments, designer clothes, tech stuff, fancy drinks, big TVs and they never get ahead. I've humbled myself. I had jobs in the past and I scrapped metals on the side and people would give me stuff they didn't need and I'd sell it for extra cash. I worked hard, my bosses would see that I wasn't afraid to let them know I was struggling. They'd give me little pieces of scrap and bags of aluminum cans. I took that money and I invested it. Scrap isn't that valuable but I was so poor that it ignited the spark and I realized I can get ahead.

    Inspirational video, sir! Same for me I have always struggled in school and I’m on towards the end of my sophomore year in high school. But what I have learned is my academic success will not define my business success. Or even in life. Whenever I first started my company I felt so good whenever I made my first $520 in one day mowing lawns and doing landscaping. I found that by the time I graduate high school I will definitely continue to pursue the lawn care and landscaping industry because I know that the people that I connect with in my area to make millions and millions of dollars. And I know I can to with my passion for the industry in my dedication. Thank you again, sir keep up the good videos.

Ik some guys who started at 10 years old like me make way more money but for all the bs I went through I’m happy with that for this year. Keep on walking brother it gets better… but enjoy your friends in school. If I were you I’d even play a sport if u have time and that’s ur thing. I had a a great time playing football and wrestling and I was meh at both lol

    There's so much information these days that people can fall into the trap of taking it all in constantly as a way of avoiding having to take action.

      So true my friend. It seems as though when you come right out and explain things to people they just find one excuse after another NOT to do it .

    George I started by business six months ago now. I’m finding some success.
    I’m at around 5-10k a month revenue. I’ve got a decent google my business page 20+ 5 star reviews, but all word of mouth, door knocking.
    I’m going to take the next step and start running ads

      @@GPackard I’m in pest control up north. Not a bad considering I started right before snow hit the ground
      I expect in the summer when weather is hot, I can probably expect to doorknock $1000 a day pretty conservatively

      what specifically do you do ?

    • @Tropicalfrooploops
      @Tropicalfrooploops Před měsícem

      @@GPackard I’ve just catered to homeowners needs, I do pretty much all residential pest control/wildlife removal and mosquito.
      It’s a big scope of work but I’m doing well, well over 100k my first year.
      I have a dislike for mosquito service though. All the neighbors complain about me “killing the bees”. There is lots of call backs, and we don’t have access to “In2care” stations in Canada yet….and no bifen, it’s illegal here
      I suppose each state/country has its own needs/opportunities and as entrepreneurs we find our own niche and fit into it.
      Wildlife is big here in canada
