If you want to skip the frustration and hassle of trying to trigger a hurricane (which only seem to happen when you're busy doing something 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 than gathering), Navao's Mushroom Pie, which is cloudspitter seed in top slot, vineshroom in bottom, will give you the highest possible rolls on the stats without having to worry about the conditions. The condition will still have an 'x" by it, but the stat will be maxed out.
U can cumul this buff also with a seed and meat dish that can upgrade the stats of pale reed or other material bye 15% . And with all this buff pale reed can give u 72 atk 😉
I got extremely lucky, while trying to get pristine crawlers the weather changed to hurricane so i went as fast as i could to find where the reeds where😂

I was funny I looked up this video earlier this day and I immediately clicked off because I didn’t have this area unlocked yet and I happened to unlock it pretty much right when I got on so now I have a broken spear thrower that does like 150 more damage than anything I have and I just barely got into the new area
Use a white moss thanator bone as by far the best. Use the 3rd ammo type in the staff sling to stun it then use a high damage heavy bow or spear thrower to hit it in the weakspot. Using navos mushroom pie and noodle soup to get the pale reed and lillyweed bass my spear thrower is 450 damage.
Yeah just use the 3rd ammo type in the staff sling, and it stuns the thanator for about 10 seconds, but it's enough to get it to stay still to line up the weakspot shot. Also it doesn't damage the thanator, so you can get the perfect kill for the best quality. It only seems to work on the thanators though
Just make the Relun's Fish Stew - Use a superior mudcrawler fish and a crimson mushroom. If' it's active you don't need the condition - hurricane, day, night, etc. You get max roll.

Kind of upset that there’s almost no reason to go hunt for items within the other regions once you get to the clouded forest. The golden items of the kinglor forest don’t compare to the purple items of the clouded forest lol.
My heavy bow is now 384, the absolute maximum roll you can get (same with shortbow and longbow), this is a pretty early video- I cover how to get max rolls in more recent ones!
My spear came out to be 421. I used Thanator bone, merciful but not clean haven’t managed that yet. Pale canyon reed, and clouded lily Bast. Ate Navaos mushroom pie and mushroom stir fry to have perfect gathering and nimble gathering III, and then I also have the apex maker skill

As far as I'm aware, the 'White Moss Forest Thanator Bone' would provide the highest damage in the Bone category at this moment.
