    Good installation guide. I advise not to talk to much and it would turn into an excellent guide. Also, there is not such a thing as a Second or Fifth generation WiFi. 2.4 and 5.0 gigahertz are simply two different bands to carry data signals. Finally, it is not true that 2.4 is less powerful than 5.0 Ghz. What it is true is that if you have a sufficiently fast device connected to the network, it MAY transmit data faster on 5.0 than on 2.4. There are few commercially available devices which will take advantage of this. At the same time 2.4 may be more “powerful” than 5.0 if you are operating outside the US where walls are built out of brick or concrete. In this environments the 2.4 signal will penetrate better through walls and therefore you WiFi signal will reach farther in your home or apartment.

    You were very helpful....you do talk a little too much, as previously noted. People just want you to get to the gist of it, how to install, etc. One other thing I might suggest is to tell people that if they are using an existing extender, to use a pin and do a factory reset before beginning. I was trying to connect to a new network and it kept picking the old name...but thank you very much!!

    This creates separate networks with the extender being on a separate SSID and not a MESH network, where all router and extender use the same SSID

      Lol 10-20 years ago Mesh called simply REPEATER. And now it’s just EXTENDER with frickin different SSID??? What it extends? It’s not, it’s just creates another signal out of your original…

      The website is (www.mywifiext.net/login.html ) if you are clicking here on youtube from your device and its not working copy and paste the whole site to your browser and keep in mind you must complete the setup and connected to the extenders wifi in order for this site to work as its an internal site inside the extenders firmware in order to access extender read the description carefully may i ask have you completed the setup till the end and connected to the extender?

      @USComputerSolutions  Před 3 lety

      If you mean for it to take internet from your mobile hotspot and for it to make it as wireless 🤔 doesn’t hurt to try i have not personally tried that cause well it can cause your phone to get hot & expensive unless you have unlimited internet from your carrier but try and see if it works and let me know doesn’t hurt to try but keep in mind again your phone will get hot
