- November 5, 2020 - Defending state champion Bixby is 7-0 overall rides 32-game win streak hosting an Oklahoma powerhouse matchup against Booker T. Washington. The game was televised on ESPN.
Braylin Presley was the difference in this game, scoring 5 touchdowns and 419 total yards. Bixby was also led by QB Mason Williams.
Keuan Parker (Arkansas commit) and Gentry Williams (No. 23 in the ESPN Junior 300) headlined Booker T.
Had the privilege to play for bixby when we began our winning traditions. Only makes me happy and proud to see how far the program has come, and how far it is going to go.

He needs to bulk up a bit. He's a pretty little dude. He shreded Oklahoma highschool defenses, but Oklahoma high schools don't really play good defense for the most part. The FBS is a new set of bigger, faster, and heavier hitting defenders. Imagine him getting crunched by two 6'3"+ guys that weigh 200+ pounds of mostly muscle, at his size. He'd be in a body cast if the clash was at full force, coming from both angles. He's slippery, but how durable would a guy of his size be when the defense starts getting good? That's the real question. Braylin hasn't played much at OSU so far.
The fact that that kid Presley only has a couple terrible D1 offers shows how little most college scouts know about football.

YEP, he has the biggest heart on the team and will plow into anyone in front of him! He's a heck of a wrestler too, ranked nationally in his weight class!
I played against him in middle school at linebacker and have to say, he was the hardest person I ever had to tackle.

The entire family is loaded with athletes, their sister is running track for Ole Miss and breaking records, the other brother is at Okstate as a freshman. And there is a younger presley that is only 13, all of them super good kids, super polite and just a really good family!

See if you know the history of Tulsa high school football.... Booker T & McLain DOMINATED hs football for decades.... both are North side (black programs) once Booker T became more focused on changing the name from Booker T to Tulsa Washington their program went 👎🏼

They played against one of the Mansfield schools twice didn't this year due to Covid.
Texas would dominate the best of Oklahoma teams real quick. The best in Oklahoma probably couldn't even beat the 5th best in Texas. Much larger state and breeds much more talent. I myself was born and raised in Oklahoma and I hate to admit it, but it's the truth.
Justin Klinck texas aint all that. The 7th best team in texas that went 10-2 and then lost in the playoffs, lost by 27 by IMG academy. Duncanvilles 2nd lost came from south lake carrol, aka quinn ewers teams. Duncanville lost by a TD. Southlake carrol lost by 18 against westlake, the number 1 team in texas. Bixby is the best team in OU. Now bixby is known for putting guys into d1 colleges, just like duncanville and southlake and img. Im from texas. bixby would be fine if they played a texas highschool team. not saying they would run texas but they would have 2 losses under their belt.

@@jammin5100 you must not watch much Texas ball bud. Big private Schools like IMG, Mater Dei, St. Francis Academy, etc.. actually recruit the best talent from all over their state... IMG recruits nationwide. The Texas schools you named, are just big public high schools, generally with only local students.. of course IMG is going to stomp public high schools.. they could compete against a lot of college squads. Bixby struggled hard against Jenks a few times, barely cut it against Choctaw, and Jenks would easily get wrecked by Denton Guyer, DeSoto, Westlake, Katy, Northshore, D'ville, Allen, Southlake Carroll, South Oak Cliff, etc. Top Texas QB's, RB's, WR's, and Secondaries are much stronger and generally larger than the Oklahoma Boys. Texas is a big damn state man, and football is literally like a religion there.

Bixby is too good for the 6A-II division....they would probably even beat Owasso.
They are the only team in the state that can compete with owasso right now. They need to play each other next year.

Owasso, Stillwater, and Jenks (and maybe Broken Arrow and Edmond Santa Fe) are the only teams in Oklahoma that could give Bixby a hard time, other than that, they make everyone else look like Jr. Varsity. They slaughtered Carl Albert who is 5A, but could beat most 6A teams. Put up 70+ points in 2 games against division opponents. Even shut out Union, who's won more state titles in division 1 than anybody else, 34-0. They are clearly the animal of the state. I'd like to see how Bixby would do against some nationally ranked teams in the top 25.

Oklahoma teams look so small compared to all the other HS teams I see on ESPN..... But they look fast..... Then again this is like 5 or 4A
This 6A division 2 these are not even the the biggest schools out here but theses two have been running the show these past few years
Bixby might be small but their program has kids training like they’re in the marines starting in 7th grade..

Booker T had much better athletes. They need to be coached better. A lot of the time they were beat on alignment and took terrible pursuit angles. Ex.1 On the screen pass it was 2 on 1 and the corner didn’t set the edge. Ex. 2 last play that they showed number 20 took a terrible angle and came in with his head down. Got juked and still hawked the running back. Just my thoughts ...
If only there were more Coach Montgomery’s! He is an outstanding coach! I know him personally and he is an assistant coach for my sons football team
Booker T has a great QB, their receivers cannot hang on to the ball! They do have great athletes, but it all boils down to coaching in the end and Bixby's coach gets more out of his players and has for years! Hence all the state titles.
@@hackatak Most of the Bixby players will have reached their peak by the time they become seniors. That school does not possess a hotbed of talent as BTW does.

What evidence do you have to support either rediculous claim? No one said Bixby has a hotbed of athletes, what they do have is an excellent football coach who knows how to maximize what he has in his players and he continues to get his players exposed to opportunities to place at the college level!

@d d Bixby is one of the smallest 6A schools in Oklahoma, they can’t move up until their class sizes get bigger. Do your research before you running your mouth. Owasso is the only school that would give Bixby a real challenge in this state.
