Definitely not a video on what to do, but the reason why people in Taiwan stop some distance away from traffic lights.
I’ve been living in Taiwan for many many years, and there are so many wonderful things I have learnt and experienced here. I primarily started this channel to share some of my experiences related to lifestyle, culture and tourism in Taiwan. The channel has since evolved and I’ve done similar videos on a couple of other cities around the world.
    我已經住了台灣多年。 學到了很多關於台灣文化和旅遊的知識。 那個時候我開始拍了CZcams影片想介紹台灣。 目前我已經拍了幾個不同國家的旅遊CZcams影片。
Hopefully my videos give you some helpful tips and ideas about Taiwan!
    希望我拍的CZcams影片給大家介紹台灣的生活方式和文化.
Love CZcams, but you should really also check out my web page! Lots more information, links, maps, tips and other videos that you might like or find useful, not to mention everything is neatly arranged under country categories too!
Thanks for watching, subscribe to my channel to get notifications when I post new videos, and I often post new videos! ;) Also please leave a comment below if you think of something interesting I should video!

I really appreciate your driving videos. I'm getting a car soon and there's very little information on driving in Taiwan in English....

I know some stuff. Nobody uses sidewalks, so you gotta look out for pedestrians.

Oh also! Dogs know how street lights work, so you don't gotta worry about them... bro.

Currently there is a new law that you can't park in the shade, but nobody takes it serious yet. I would only get angry at this when it's heavy traffic, cause yes I do it too on my scooter...

If I do this in Singapore I’ll feel like I’m the the most inconsiderate person in the world. Having said that, I’ll always move forward from the shade whenever a car appears behind.

I heard that there are many gangs in Taiwan, especially in Taichung.

Ha, I am not sure if that is really really acceptable if the gap is that big. Also staying in shadow is usually for motorcycles.

Not so long ago they were telling on the news that stopping under shadow to avoid sunlight can be fined and the police are on it , 3寶= the typical cultural Taiwanese drivers 😅

I'm Taiwanese who live in Taichung. And yes, the traffic here in Taiwan "Culture trumps legality" is EVERYWHERE except in Taipei I guess.
It's a shame to let you guys from other countries to see these depressing views everyday.
