Welcome to the gossip closet where we get to gossip all about fashion, beauty and everything in between.
Well the times has come. I knew this day would come sooner or later. I love perfumes sooooo much that I never want to let them go even if I don't like the scent BUT 2024, I gotta do better lol. It's time to let these perfumes go and move on to better ones and discover other ones that I have not yet tried. If you enjoy any of these perfumes all power to you but please keep in mind this video is based on my taste in perfumes. Thank you

Same. Not only because I might not be crazy about the fragrance but because I never go anywhere and don’t wear too much perfume to work because my coworkers will complain
My point is when ever they come out with a new perfume not all come out in a travel size it's sad God bless everyone 🙏❤️
@@brandonbaird4499 That's true. Luckily there are a lot of decant sites you can buy from and small business decanters on etsy too. If a perfume is relatively inexpensive I'll just buy the smallest bottle possible.
2024 we are keeping what we love love and not like like lol. Just a few perfumes I am just not wowed by. What perfume are you most disappointed by?

That's good. I agree only keep what you love. I'm doing the same, too. I got some perfume for sale on my Mercari page. I have two Lancôme & a Tom Ford.
I decluttered to my perfume collection. I noticed that it was most of, if not all of my blind buys.

I love these decluttering videos! I have been decluttering a ton too. I feel so much better getting rid of stuff that I don't use. If I don't use it, it has to go!
I try not to blind buy anymore and if I do, it’s only after watching a few reviews and then I just get a travel or even a a sample if I can
These are the prettiest perfume bottles I've ever seen. Thanks for a great declutter video. I always learn so much watching them. I'm still looking for that "It" fragrance that's just right for me. It's out there somewhere. 💜💜💜
Just decluttered over 50 bottles as well from now on I’ll only keep fragrances I’m 100% obsessed with 👏👏 I used to love bronze goddess too now I’m not too impressed lol ❤️❤️
great video ! I love DG Devotion, It's a must have for me ! I don't want to be without it, I'm half way done with my bottle. I could not stop laugh when you said it smelled like bread. lol! I was very disappointed with Black Opium Over Red as well, not sure what YSL was thinking with that one. I hope you are well !!😊

Love the video...I too have a collection and a YT channel and I came to the realization that:
There is no such thing as a a collection with only "loves'. Bc we are always buying, trying, experimenting...and also the blind buy situation😂
Also for content creators it can be a good idea to have perfumes as an olfactory library for reference, bc it's natural to forget smells. Still, having more than loves help us to convey information easily when we can relate to other more familiar smells and other perfumes.
Just food for thought...your experience might be different.

The Daisy Pop is for all the limited edition (all 3). The line or range you like, which is also my fav is the Daisy Love!! In this case, it’s called Daisy Love Pop. That one was my fav top of the three!

If you don’t own Guess Seductive Red it’s an Amazing Sweet deep cherry scent. And the dry down smells veryyy similar to Arianas Cloud Plus Cherry note. It’s soooo good! Best part it’s under 40$! Closer to 30!

Yeah I wanted Devotion since I saw that pretty bottle in their promo. But I didn't like the kind of sweetness it had too, even though I like citrus gourmands, probably because of the bread/panacotta. If I got it, it would've collected dust.
I approve of your declutters! I got sucked up with the Devotion hype and bought a 10ml and was so glad I bought the small size because I didnt love it.
I have the Bye bye Blue too and just like you I have never reached for it. But I have to say that maybe this scent is ideal to wear for the gym.

You are the first one I’ve heard talk about Bronze Goddess surprisingly! That one is my absolute favorite, but I love the sunscreen type scents also 🥰
not for nothing but this was one of the very first perfumes I had when I started to realize what type of perfumes I truly love so perhaps that is the reason why I am somewhat over it, I have found my true obsessions if that makes sense lol.

I'm with you I sometimes keep a perfume because the bottle is so beautiful. But I too am deciding to declutter. And as for perfumes I used to really like then later deciding not so much. I'm wondering if it's that the perfume changes it's scent when getting old. Or am I the one changing?...LOL
I like to try scents first because I can’t afford to get something I don’t like 😅. I ended up liking devotion but I had to let it settle and dry down. Gave it a few days. At first sniff I was like woah that is strong. But it turns out it goes well with my chemistry. I wanted to love the Kayali pistachio one and I couldn’t so that’s one that disappointed me. Now I need to go sniff the new one because it sounds so good (rock candy).
I like the les vie est belle one, not everyone will like the oud and frankincense but after few minutes it's settled in my skin and smell a very soft woody les vie, but I did try at macys before I bought, also I'm not invest in bottles I prefer buy the travel size first, special because the price are really high right now, a 1oz bottle nowadays is over $100😢
Oh damn i just bought a 90ml of Black Opium Over Red as I was obsessed with it both times i tried it in store *on paper*. That was really silly of me to not try it on my skin first as i will be disappointed if it turns masculine on me too, but the reason i got the biggest bottle was because i know ill be spraying it in my bag and notebook a lot, because to me it smelled like a gorgeous vanilla, cherry and coffee which lasted *weeks* on the paper and soaked through the pages of my notebook. If i cant wear it on my skin ill still be spraying it on all my things, and my clothes 😂
I stopped buying perfume no room dont wear them time to start decluttering my collection also🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤

It is so disappointing when you are excited for a fragrance and it doesnt work out. I finally got Dior Addict and I can not stand it! I also got Lalique Le Parfum and it is very simple to Addict. They are spicy vanillas. Very strange to my nose and I feel like I wasted my money 😔. I guess I learned something new about my fragrance taste from these mistakes 😏

We all go through this stage, i remember when i started i bought everything. I had to have it all, and then you realize… i think I don’t like this as much as I thought I did lol. And I tell new perfume heads to be careful because the fact of the matter is you are not gonna wear most of your fragrances if you continue to buy new releases, you gotta be very careful and spend money correctly. I sold so many fragrances and now I know exactly what I like, and the collection I have screams me. 😊

Devotion is so screechy .. like sweet perfume mixed with dolce and gabana light & blue
yea, for a sweet vanilla scent, I don't get any of that. I get more of a lemon scent.

I blind bought the DG Devotion and thought I would love it and it was the opposite. I recently let go of my Georgio Armani Sí that I loved for years. I told myself no more blind buys for me in 2024. And if I no longer wear something, let it go

Maybe try the words “vintage” or “mature” instead of “old lady”.
Those sound a lot better, way classier and less tacky.

I have tried to LOVE the D&G but I feel like its not a MUST in my collection. I've decided to not buy any other fragrance unless I finish one or really NEED it, cause GIRRRRL my collection is crazy and this year I have got to get my sh#+ together! 😅🤣😜
DG devotion is a straight up lemon meringue. Not sure if i want to be walking around smelling like i work from bakery. There’s a difference between i want to eat you up smell so good versus which bakery do you work at? I cannot lmao 😂
I did not like devotion either. I wanted it for the bottle but it was a no when I smelled it
Wish I would have seen this video first. Recently bought Burberry Goddess because I loved it, instead of Devotion. Got caught in the hype and ended up buying Devotion and now wish I had stuck to the original plan and just bought Goddess only.

The thing with D&G devotion for me is i LOVE the opening and the first few minutes of the scent.. but the drydown is awful. The drydown is gross for me unfortunetly.

I finally smelled Devotion yesterday. It smells like it has strong herbs in it and not in a good way.

I didn't like that New dolce and Gabbana it will be better for everyone is if they come out with a new perfume it should always have a travel size so we can try it before we buy the full size cologne and perfume if we like it we will no Werthe to buy the full size God bless everyone 🙏❤️
