- I have early access to the new Kurenai DLC for Naruto Storm Connections! This video will showcase her full moveset as well as some slightly advanced things you can do with her jutsu. After recording I've found more with her grab! Kurenai Yuhi is a fantastic new addition to Naruto Storm Connections! I'm excited for everyone to be playing Kurenai online in ranked matches and player matches! CC2 has done an amazing job with Kurenai's moveset, making it one of the most beautiful yet deadly movesets in the Storm franchise!

Kurenai has one of the most visually stunning combos and movesets in the entire Storm franchise! CC2 did a great job with her!
But doesn’t that may overshadow the old ones?
Like players will be expecting at some point a redo of all characters if thr new ones will get this animations

@@marcopc220 I don't think so cause the old characters are already awesome. We can have some complains but overall, each of them are well made according to their fighting style.
Plus characters' gameplay is about personal taste: You have people loving character emphasizing on Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Speed, Ninja tools, Dojutsu or even Troll visual effect (Kushina,Tobi,Mecha-Naruto).
She's actually a mix between Taijutsu and Genjutsu such as Itachi (Except from his neutral combo)

Kurenai looks so sick. Maybe it’s a blessing she got added in so late because if she want an assist the older games and she was a full on playable character, I bet she’d be really basic like how they made Tsunade and many of the other characters that they refuse to upgrade. Since she’s dlc, they had no choice but to make her moves look flashy and good.
I was thinking the same thing! There's no way her moveset would have looked this nice in Storm Generations or Revolution!
They could add a new ultimate to outdated characters, such as Karin(the chain attack), Kushina(Adamantine Sealing Chains), two new ults for Sai(one could be from his explosive birds along with the sealing Tiger. The other could be with Fuujin and Raijin) and one for Juugo (Multiple Lotus Nonself Connected Cannons). They could also add a new Suigetsu without a sword and could use the technique him used against Bee and his bijuu

Her moves are elegant. Reminds me of Byakuya's Senbonzakura.
I love how they implemented her movesets from the ultimate ninja series into storm. Visually stunning and also funny how she fights more like Itachi than Itachi himself. The swift graceful movements and that awakening action straight out of ultimate ninja 5 Itachi ‘s taunt move
Didn't even know she was in the Ultimate Ninja games. I stopped playing after 4 and skipped 3 since I didn't even know it came out at the time.

Lowkey, she made buuying this game worth it. Someone at the studio had to be a fan of her. Cause if anyone i thought anko would've gotten this treatment first

The one thing I don't like is the harp sound of the ultimate and the her face in the ultimate, but mainly the combos and jutsus are sick ! Hope the season pass 2 have Anko , Shizune , and Tsunade Byakugou, Orochimaru rework and Jiraya
Completely agree on the characters that needs rework, but unlike you, I think that Kurenai's face is amazing in the ulti.

Kurenai may be the most creative and unique character in Storm, just going by how her combos are animated. Every character in the Storm series has the same kind of movement with their combos. They usually move forward while performing their combos, rarely moving in different directions, and generally will occupy a single spot from beginning to end. But Kurenai is going ham and occupying multiple places during her combos. CC2 became so creative with Kurenai that I feel like a modder created this character. Kurenai’s combos are like a mixture of close-range and long-range. Imagine if long-range characters like Deidara became close-range characters and received the Kurenai treatment. Imagine if puppet masters like Sasori were close-range characters, and we could actually see the crazy movement from the puppets up close with cutscenes to end their combos. Now that we have Kurenai, there’s no excuse for other characters to not get updated movesets, especially long-range characters and puppet masters.
Sannins to, especially Tsunade. Haven't gotten uprgraded since ages.
Data: when she do the slow motion jutsu and catch with a combo in it, the enemy can't do sub, that is great.
Can you imagine the creativity with Anko and Shizune!!!
Especially shizune as she has cool medical ninjutsu
But even Anko. She would end up being cooler than orochimaru hahaha

They obviously didn’t put as much effort in as the Sound Four DLC, but still good considering how little screen time she got.

She looks really good, especially her Combos! I also love the Slowing Down Jutsu (reminds me of Tsukuyomi Mode with Itachi in the Ulitmate Ninja Games). I pray that Anko will be added too in the future. She has already a model in Storm 1 and two Support Attacks (got reminded of that bc I play Storm 1 Story again), and CC2 could cook so hard with this.
Apparently her Awakening actions if it hits prevents the enemy from subbing during the slow
Also if it hits and you switch out it cancels the effect
I am now wondering if she has any effects during the awakening since she gets an icon (like in Ultimate Ninja 5 where she goes into Substitution Mode)
Felt more like an Asuma special then a Tag team. Like it’s gives Kurenai assistance
She looks fire but if she can get a genjutsu attack that’s not an alt I want a new Itachi variation that can use tsukuyomi and has his old combos from storm 2

First jutsu looks like it will be a nightmare if it comes out fast enough as an assist. Her second jutsu sems to act like how the itachi clone jutsu worked in a previous game iirc.
Interesting that they were able to make her so interesting with how little she had done in the series. Though can see the struggle with her having like three moves based on the one she had used on Itachi. Would be nice to get Anko too if we get a second season. When is she supposed to drop anyway?
