One of my favorite things about your posts is that I don’t have to hawk eye screen them! I trust you to be appropriate, not questionable lyrics, etc. It sounds a little silly to say but it’s such a gift!!! Thank you for being a reliable resource.

You are very welcome. I write and produce the background music myself, and I'm very careful about what I expose my own students to so I absolutely understand. Glad to be a reliable resource for you. 🙂

I used this video today in my classes, and I love the way you've got it set up. The rhythms are very clear and easy to read, the animation is synced perfectly- and the music was great too! In one class, we even had a little discussion on what Justice means and why it's represented with the scale. You've got quite a lot of great teachable things in here! Thanks!

At a new position I used this video last year, and we have build a process of using your tracks (Listen, Airplay, Say and Play, Say and Play again). We normally clap or use body percussion, but today we will use it to scaffold with recorders, now that we can use them in our district again. Thanks for the great resource!

My students absolutely LOVED this play along, and every class asked if we could do it again (the gold standard of excellence in elementary music!) Thank you for making something so engaging, musical, and great to listen to. I was able to ask the kids to "translate" the icons into notation, which made it a great review for our notational literacy component of the lesson. And of course, it was great to have something musical to do as we spoke about Dr. King's work and legacy. Thank you!

Mr. Moten, Thank you, so much, for sharing your work/lesson based on Dr. King. At a critical time (though it is ALWAYS important) like this, your work provided a springboard for my students and I to discuss Dr. King's legacy and the effects of social justice and equal rights on music in the USA. Thanks for this fantastic resource!

You look like you're having fun and my students pick up on that attitude. I also like the fact that each phrase is repeated 4 times giving the students extra practice and a chance to get it right. Thank you so much for continuing to do these play alongs. I teach in New York, and having materials that I can use in person, and when we have to go to fully remote instruction has saved my program this year. I will purchase one of your advanced sets with the hope that it encourages you to keep producing these valuable resources. I also appreciate that you dress so professionally as an example for our students, and the conducting is a great plus as well. Thank you again!

I would really love to see something with half notes and whole notes or dotted half notes instead of sixteenths as a slightly more advanced version. My third and fourth graders aren't quite to sixteenth notes, but QN, EN and QR is a little too easy for them.
