- Kawhi Leonard is one of the best players in the NBA. Although his minutes have been reduced to load management he is still a superstar level player. When guarding Kawhi he is almost impossible to stop. In this video we break down how Kawhi uses his strength and pull up jumper to dominate in scoring.

Kawhi Leonard legacy is pretty good. He's also impossible to stop in defense. Others may understimate his offense, but his scoring is actually pretty good compare to other sf in the leauge.

Obviously, he's not Jordan. No high flying dunks; just a ho-hum kind of player. But he's strong, fundamentally sound, big hands, incredible defender, can get buckets at any time, anywhere...he's a midrange assassin (shout out to CP3, Demar, KD). But no one can stop him when he is locked in.

Watching him play is like art, he plays such beautiful basketball. I get stars in my eyes like the emoji 🤩 every time.
I remember when he debuted a few games on the Raptors in 2019, he looks like he was walking on water. Not even using is strength to get to the hoop, just pure finishing skill and footwork. Also the first time I've seen him 100% offensive driven, this is after the spurs.

Kawhi’s game is just like 96-98 version of MJ but MJ is a lot more athletic and explosive when driving to the basket also have better basketball IQ and he will be a lot better in todays NBA because of the rules hes gonna averging 40ppg with high efficiency he will be unguardable in this era no cap
Also they are close on how they do the pull up dribble jumper just a dribble or two and shoot

If Kawhi wasn't so injury prone and played 70+ games every season, he would really have a strong case for the best player in the league.
Think about the best players now, most of them are great scorers, but I would argue only Durant is a better all around scorer than Kawhi. But even though Durant is a good defender, he isn't nearly the defensive monster that Kawhi is who can pretty much slow down ANYONE. Giannis is the other all time great defender, but his lack of shooting and bad free throw shooting can be a liability in the clutch. Also consider this, Kawhi is the only player in the last decade to win a title without another 20ppg scorer on his team.
i agree.kawhi is also very effective and reliable on both ends of the floor.he is also clutch.but sad to say,his star teammate underperformed comes playoffs.
I feel Kawhi is better than KD when healthy cause Kawhi is stronger than KD so you can’t push him off the spot the same way you can do KD where he struggles with physicality at times.
Kawhi takes better shots than KD, got better footwork, more active off the ball, reads the defense better & got lower turnovers, better ball control and better defender

@MeMe-td1ye Kawhi plays nothing like Lebron. Kawhi uses the middy way more than Lebron. Kawhi has a similar physicality like Lebron but Kawhi plays more skillful with his post moves, fadeaways, footwork and offball game.
Lebron is a ball dominant point forward that’s more of a slasher & uses the P&R as a ball handler more often
