You Put the wonder weapon in slot 2, and Upgrade the first slot weapon.. Than juggernaut, and after the wonder weapon is grey ( but 3), right??

You must charge it longer to become more powerful shot and longer range.
When I use it as a primary weapon, I use in the same way, only charges up to 1 or 2 and shot, with that I can shoot more, but speaking about power, I see the same damage with out charge and charging, the only difference is the beam stay longer and have more range, but when you are fighting several zombies, is better shoot it with out charging, that gives you more control and aim, also when you start charging press the aim button and you will shoot to a critical point against bosses helps a lot (on controller of course)
This would have been much easier if you shot the Mega Abominations in the mouth instead of the body.
The mouth will take the same damage as the body. Scorcher does not break the mouth of a mega abomination
