I only played bush footy but I played until I was 32 and I have battled with the same ailments my entire life and it is cruel. 30 minute warm ups for the smallest amount of exercise, taking 2 days to recover from any sort of physical activity, being cranky ALL the time because your sore and just crossing the street quickly is enough to send stabbing pain into your Achilles and knees. And every day is just a chore because of pain of arthritis and tendinitis and if you love your sport and being active it eventually breaks your heart when you can’t go anymore. I’d give anything just to be able to do a 5km jog again. All the best to you and your career mate. Grit your teeth and get it
I don't even know what to say or even where to start. What I do know is that courage and the will to determine your destiny is from the belief I have in what my heart desires. And as a sportsman, not at the level this mighty warrior has achieved but the setbacks are the setups for the comebacks. Love your passion for what you've always desired Michaela. Kia Kaha!
