My heart stopped when I got hit at 1:19 but the long flying animation was barely enough to reach 1:20. Fuck this minigame.
yeah they give you a couple seconds in the air which is nice but man this game sucks but it’s disguised as easy and makes you so mad with that stupid ass circus song it’s a troll of sure
same happened to me pretty much, with an extra second to spare but close enough.
It's wild since I had completed 3 on 1 and 2 on this 1, on hard I'm Required to finish this to just be able to go forward (to "talk to Priscilla")😂🤦♂️😭🤣🤣

You can do it friend. There is a pattern. Once you figure out the pattern you'll know when to jump and how to jump.

When the last piece of the floor drops. You want to get close to the spinning thing in the middle.

Took me over an hour but finally did it , what helped was covering up the time on my tv , it kept distracting me as soon as i did that got it within a few more tries
Pro tip: Always stay in the center of circle that barriers & platform move slower than outer area of circle. That’s how I got almost 2 mins.
This reminds me of Xbox 1st Fusion Frenzy mini-game.

Anybody else's game glitch out on you when you go in the area that turns you into frogs with Cait sith in your party? He turns into a twirling tornado in my game and the frame rate drops to 1fps and it keeps crashing.
I got that tornado after the minigame. Was strange....
If you go to the right and hug the wall, you can outrun the spinner for the first 30 seconds. I feel like the game designers had all the frogs run to the left so you wouldn't realize that you could do this.

Sometimes just staying put and maneuvering your spot from the outer circle is still effective rather than going against the rotation of the platform. During the 3rd stage when all platforms are almost gone, approaching from the outer circle to the middle works.

Just spent 90minutes doing this myself. To cheese the first 30seconds, you can run counterclockwise on the inside with your head hitting thr leading bumper.
When the plate splits to its final section, it's always the piece on the right that falls

Sadly this challenge is the only one so far that no matter how many videos i watched it still took me acouple hours to finally complete this. Just got 1:21 and i finally finished it. This took me longer than any of the fort condor hard challenges, it is awful.. Best advice i can give is at the start hold sprint to the right and stay behind that one lower propeller for the first 30 seconds, then the platforms fall and you have to start jumping. At that point its usually two jumps, then under the top bar. Two jumps, then go under the top bar. And then 3 jumps, and go under the top bar, and just rinse and repeat until you get it. I beat the high score and still didn't get the treasure trove items (imediately after finishing side quest when it became available). do the items show up later or do i have to do this crap again later in game?

@@Nemesis-pi9yi Turns out I did get them. Since the the ones you find with the chocobo in the wild showed up in the key item inventory i assumed they all would, but minigame rewards just show up in the trove automatically after unlocking it.

god that made me dizzy took me 20 min my way (always endet around 1:11:00) then after this video I got it 2nd try (1st if you count the fail where I wanted to jump with X instead of O ) I just went counter clock for the first 30 minutes then got through phase 2 as always and in phase 3 I just stayed closer zu the middle than I always did and that helped me.
square enix should fix the viewing angle auto correction... it is too hard to estimate the distance when the angle keep spinning around..
Fuck this minigame. I'm not proud i had to look up a guide for this but this one really drove me nuts

The way I did it was like this;
1. Move to the inside lane, jump,
2. Fast circle to give the spinner time to reach me or pass over me
3. Jump
4. Fast circle
5. Jump
6. Move to mid, start running in line with the floor until second platform drops, then stay on leading edge
7. Repeat 3 and 4.
it's hard, but i'm close i can get to a 1min 2, it just has a funky pattern and i get unlucky of having the floor fall from me.
So, no new rewards or thropy for rank 3 🙄?.
I turn off the sound and I didn't look at the time, so I didn't get distracted like I did for the pull up trophy in the remake.
I did it on 2nd try.

i played the main game in graphic mode, wasted half an hour and then realized i can switch to performance mode for better experience 🤣 took me 3 times afterwards
Never play any game in graphics mode. They're virtually unplayable. Cyberbung is pretty bad in graphics mode. I don't get it because these games look just as good in performance mode except they are actually playable.

Goddammit the game keeps crashing when I finally beat something. I beat level 4 of fort Condor over the course of 50 tries just for the game to crash before I could save. Same thing here. They need to fix this game.
But dont go back to far or you might fall off also you gotta stay a bit forwad later so can leap over the last collapsing platform again guys keep going back enough to keep your eyes on the top bars coming towards you from behind cause trying to do it blindly or trying to aticiapte the jump timing blindly is very very difficult

Getting Rank 3 on this to me was worse, than 200x lightining in a row and 0:00:0 chocobo race combined.
ya this game truly sucks a chocobo ballsak but I WOULDNT GO THAT FAR, I almost destroyed my PS4 doing that chocobo race
Both of those were way easier than any of the shitty mini games in debirth. Getting 000 and dodging lightning was easy compared to this. Not a single fun mini game in debirth unlike the original that had really good chocobo races, better motorbike game, snowboarding.

Yes. Hard mode time is increased to 1:40 though

The frog game is tougher in hard mode with 1:40 being the third level but for the hard mode trophy all you need to do is beat the game. Getting all the other trophies on first run then I can just have fun trying to beat the game on hard without worrying about the side stuff.
I hate it too, I stayed on for 1:34.62 sec.

I did it. I finally did it. The solution is to think like a frog. Ribbit.
If you keep having issues with the frog not dashing, but instead just walking which is making you miss some adjustments for jumps, I found holding R2 and just doing circles in place stopped this from happening.
I spent 2 hours in this effin minigame ffs.
