    Loved the tutorial. The tango with the right partner can be magical.

    Well done !!
    What about head position ?

    • @BallroomFeed
      @BallroomFeed  Před 2 lety

      Thanks Harry! The head position should both be off to the left. For the follower more so and for the leader through the window to the left of her head so you can properly direct her while moving and hopefully not crashing into anything :)

    Why is there no eye contact in this dance?

    • @BallroomFeed
      @BallroomFeed  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Bob, great question! Besides the point that it is the correct technique for both parties to look off to their left in closed tango dance position, it is also so the leader can properly "floor craft" which means he can see what's in front of him and properly direct his partner so you don't crash into anything (since the leader is going forward and the follower is going backwards and is trusting the leader to direct them). Since tango travels in most patterns this is especially important. For her it helps her maintain her alignment to her partner staying off to the left for a more successful dance. Hope this helps to answer your question! :)

      Eye contact is mainly in rhumba..in travelling dances no eye contact, waltz, tango, foxtrot, VW..

      Yes, we will be re-filming these in the future in pants so it's easier for our viewers to see. Thank you for your feedback!

    I love your playful interactions with each other. But I am having difficulty seeing your footwork because of your long skirt. Your husbands footwork and bodywork are very easy to see and follow.
