We always say, "We're on a mission to experience life, not just live it". Well, we've recently met someone who takes this motto to a whole different level! On this episode of Wingin' It! With Friends we introduce you to our new friend and fellow Newmar New Aire motorhome owner, Don Hagge.
At 89 years young, Don decided to buy his first RV and set off on an epic road trip adventure because... "Why Not?".
When we met Don, he was just over a year into his RV road trip and had already logged over 26,000 miles! When we asked him what inspired him to become an RVer and travel extensively, his answer was simple... "Why Not?".

I am a physical therapist in an active adult senior community and most are depressed , complaining, and just feel like they are dying in place instead of thriving in place. I am going to share this with my patients for inspiration to never stop setting goals and dreams!!! My husband and I are in our 50's and we are starting the prep work . Hope to see you on the road in Freedom some day!!! Our reason is from healing after Cancer and not knowing the future. The future is uncertain for all of us , so why be held down in one place. we are meant to explore not ignore our life. Thank you ! I am learning so much from you both. We have our list made.

I love this so much. I go all over the country with the 88 year old grandfather. There is no such thing as old. Drivers are crazy in all age groups.
Your only as old as you act and feel and Don has figured that out, he’s incapable! 😊

Inspirational! Hoping to get a rig in the future and glad age isn’t not totally against us. My Aunt Claire Ruth Nichols worked at NASA during the time he did. She knew all the astronauts too. She died years ago.

What a career! He is one of a kind for sure. Tell him that he should try a family owned Mexican Restaurant in Truth or Consequences, NM called El Faro. We went there last year and this restaurant was awesome. The family originated from Mexico and everything they serve is authentic.
