But the true reason is in TF War for Cybertron: When Optimus was volunteeres for tenporary command, he brought Zeta to high counsil, Then he took the matrix of leadership from Cybertron core (or Primus), So Core can survive even while its shut down. Matrix of leadership results of being a prime, and being the leader of Autobots.

I also kind have my own Prime character. His name is Road-Rail Prime. He's the perfect mixture of Brawn and Brains. He's both a scientist/engineer/inventor and a fighter. He has the ability to travel on railroads track as well as a regular road. Hence the name.He transforms into a Hi-Rail Pickup Truck, thus where he gets his ability. His the truck bed that hangs on his back while in robot mode is also his Personal Storage Dimension. Like Swindle's chest drawer from Animated.

This was unexpected, but absolutely hilarious, as usual. I love how Starscream just walks in and sees the poor guy getting the snot shot out of him. Although, the invisible screaming could actually be useful, sneak into a base, turn invisible in the middle of a room and begin screaming, they'll never know it's not one of them screaming if he keeps running through the base.
