I got my first first place today in a comp with the recurve I did the Rocky Mountain Elk comp you could use any bow from under 33m with no sight and no stands of any kinds so I decided to use the recurve since I haven't used it in a long time and managed to get first it was based of weight and I almost got max weight.

Flinter do you think a Florida map would be good in cotw or classic. That includes gators, hogs, whitetail, bears, and several types of ducks.
they already have one in classic its called rougarou bayou
@@dylancole4440 Well, technically Rougarou Bayou is based on Louisiana and not Florida. But I see what you mean, it's a very similar area with a lot of the same wildlife.
@EAT_SLEEP_FISH_ON the main thing I wanted is the gators because that would be fun to hunt something new. Like if they could add small duck boats or John boats for a map in the Everglades or in lake Okeechobee where you could use it to set up gator bait or make it a makeshift hunting blind were you could hunt hogs, ducks and gators from the boat.

I think the hunter classic is the best hunting game because of the equipment
i have only ever gotten 2 typical whitetails scoring over 200 in the hunter classic. both were taken before truracs and i think one was 204 and another was 214. i've never gotten a NT whitetail.
200s are way more rare than nontyp tho and also 214 is fucking huge

I noticed you have the huntermate graphics so you can actually read the words on the huntermate. I have setttings at max and have tried multiple resolutions from 1028 to 1920 with no increase in graphics quality. Maybe I have to pay real money to get the higher quality graphics? :)

My problem is I dont understand why they won’t put the whole “character taking a pic with the harvest” thing inside the call of the wild! That would set that game off I mean I understand you got the lodges but if you can go thru like picture albums of your harvest that was taking in the map that would be awesome
Because cotw has no community. No competitions. No leaderboards. And no one matters for trophy shots except yourself. Classic is competive. Cotw is for arcade single players

Cotw needs comps
For the 1000th time, comps wouldn't work in COTW due to a plethora of reasons. COTW allows cheating, they don't care if people do it. As long as this is a thing, cheaters would dominate competitions and ruin them. Secondly, with the way COTW works as a game, it's not like they could give anything out for prizes. Even if they just gave out trophies like in Classic, those would mean nothing with the way the game works. A lot of people would argue that comps wouldn't work in COTW because people would just constantly have a multiple person tie for first place due to the exact set max of animal scores. Lastly, COTW can barely maintain their game as it is, and competitions would be just as bad of a mess as any other feature they attempt to add.
