Macadamia nuts are new this year at Aldi. They also carry a dry roasted with sea salt pistachios.
In the bacon section, we have a bacon that comes in an orange box that you can pull back a flap and look at the bacon slices. I don't remember the ingredients. The meat part has little to no marbling. It is the cheapest bacon here. I think that the company is Jamestown.
They also carry a frozen salmon selection. It is wild caught. It is 2# for a low price. It is probably not one of the better types of salmon. For those of us with a small budget, it is good.
They are starting to carry evoos with the extra information like harvest date on them now.
They sometimes carry two different types of chocolate covered marzipan bars. I rarely get them due to the high carbs/sugars, but I will have them on a day with very little other carbs.
I like to buy that flat tub of ghee as it makes it easier to use every last drop.
They also carry a pork skin and salt pork rinds. I keep looking for a sea salt version.
They sometimes carry good mustards in their special area. Usually mustard seed, vinegar, and a few other good ingredients to make the specific type of mustard.

My wife works at our local Aldi. Keep a sharp eye on their smoked salmon single serving packages. They don't really sell at ours, so they all went out of date. Which means they were marked down to 99 cents a piece. I bought the store out and threw them in my freezer. Saved 80 dollars :)

I do the same at my local grocery store all the time with bison and the grass fed beef. But since the pandemic it's no longer "This stuff is expiring today, can I have it for a dollar?" I have to wait until an hour or two before the meat department closes before they'll do it. Which is a little iffy on their part because they won't remove it from the shelves until the next morning.

About the butter... They weren't deceptive. They didn't lie. It was right on the front label. You should worry about the companies who do lie on their labels. They didn't lie on the spreadable butter label. Why would you consider them a risk to lie on the unspreadable butter? Especially since the butter is imported from Ireland which has very stringent production and labeling laws. All of the butter produced in Ireland is grass-fed by law. Organic and non-GMO by law.

I've had this butter before, and from taste and color alone I can tell it's from grass fed cows. Deep yellow color and intense flavor. Completely different from the standard butter they sell which is more of an off yellow, almost white color and little flavor.

Love the videos, but would rather see things for healthy MEALS as opposed to SNACKS. Pretty strong willed and disciplined after being on KETO OMAD/2-MAD for two years, but if I had 90% of these snacks sitting in my cupboards I would be doomed. Eliminating easy access to 'snacks' is a big deal. If I wanted a snack right now I'd have to cook something - ZERO easily accessible snacks.

Starting keto was daunting for me but your videos have helped me immensely! I now feel confident that keto is right for me and I'm more motivated to stick with this lifestyle now that have your videos to guide and educate me. I have never been one to except someone telling me to do something, without explanation, I need to understand why. My favorite part of how you format is, you say what is good or bad and then provide the scientific evidence for it! Thanks for reading all of those medical journals and papers and delivering the information to us in a way that's interesting and easy to understand. Please keep doing what you are doing!! This means that approximately 3% of a cow’s total typical annual diet may be from GM sources…
At present, the Irish Dairy Board cannot guarantee that grain supplements used by farmers will all be GM free…”

The biltong beef sticks at my Aldi in a Chicago suburb are marked down to $2.94!! They have been for the last 3-4 weeks, been buying one every single week since, when they get down to a low quantity will probably buy 3 or 4 at one time. I guess they're not selling well due to the high cost.

Walmart has the almond flour tortillas in the freezer section that I've been enjoying. They are $7 for a pack of 8 though.

    Very informative thank you, Tom.
Personally I found magic spoon too sweet but I’m sure it’s a great option. I like Highkey cereal better, however

Just FYI, in the Aldi finds right now, they have the Aldi version of Protein2O for $1.49 per bottle and they are sweetened with erythritol and stevia leaf extract.

I love their ghee! They've been discounting it in my Aldi (now $6.19) and I'm afraid they are going to discontinue it, so I buy a jar every time I go in.

Oh my God 😅😅😅😭I got so excited when you started talking about biltong and beef jerky. Biltong is originally from South Africa and I’m South African living in the United States. Being away from home, I find that anything South African makes me feel really good. Thank you for finding this one for me 🙏 I will definitely go buy it from Aldi tomorrow

A Quarter? We have to put $1 or $2 coin in trolleys in Aldi Australia.
Does that mean Americans will take a trolley back for a quarter but Aussies won't take trolley back for anything under $1 ?
Everything's so much more expensive in Australia even trolleys😉😉

C.T 111 In the US, $1 coins are very rare, like practically a collectible item. Quarters are the largest coin that's commonly circulated.

I love my Aldis, they even sold an exact Instapot clone for $45. I got a huge bamboo cutting board the other day for $9.99, and I got a decent 20v li ion drill for $40. My 5 year old 12v one is still working.

Unbelievable! I wish Aldi here in Germany, the mainland of Aldi, would only be half as well sorted ! But then the local Aldi markets should be three times as big. With you above the big pond , everything is a little bigger 👍 .
