I really enjoyed you working with pan Pastels. Turned out lovely. I'm gonna try it. I have lots of pastels but not the pan Pastels. I've seen someone scrape the stick pastels and use it that way. Scrape it on the side with a knife. I love color. Sounds like fun. I'm already working with pastels now,so I have them out already. Mostly doing landscapes. I was wondering about the pastels on clay. Now you've answered my question. Thank you. I like the other things you showed us too. : )

Hi Karen - happy you liked the video! It was fun experimenting! Tomorrow I want to do some different things with the pastels! I have also tried chalk and I like that too but really like these pan pastels better. They are kind of like butter! I guess the pigments + chalk + binder makes a difference in the texture and smoothness of the product! You may want to just give them a try! Fun to have you on my journey! God bless!❤️❤️❤️

Those really look beautiful, almost creamy and I’m bummed I don’t have any and haven’t used them!! The applicator sponges make a big difference. Wow, i love this stencil idea. Thanks!!

HI Jane.... the pan pastels are yummy!☺️❤️ You are so right...the sponge sticks make a huge difference! After I made the video I decided to go online to find a few stencils that had smaller cutouts! I will share those in a video when they come! So fun! Blessings to you!❤️❤️❤️

I know this is an older tutorial, but I’ve only just gotten panpastels for Christmas. Do you seal them after baking?
