This song is obviously great. But the best part for me is that it doesn't just hit the people who have been left. I was in the place of the girl in this song. I loved someone that couldn't follow me, and I wanted stay and be with her so bad, but we both knew I had to leave. This song still gets me despite being on the other side of it, probably because of knowing how she must have felt (which was exactly how I did).
