Dr Krause, thank you for the current and valuable information. My cat was diagnosed with asthma and is being treated with prednisone successfully, but I would prefer to use alternative treatments. May I make a suggestion for your video? The music is a bit distracting because the volume is nearly as loud as your voice. When I'm listening to educational videos I'd prefer there not be any music during the discussion. Thanks again!

@@M-bu9je the cool mist humidifier has really helped my cat a lot and in addition to that I did purchase air purifier. đ
cerinia worked for a day but he had heavy breathing all night and was sick. I don't recommend. He had to get a depo medrol shot because he was panting and oral prednilisone wasn't helping what are the dangers of this medicine and how long does it take for it to help? wish I had started cbd in the first place but didn't know about it

I bought the San ren tang you suggested. What is the daily dose for feline asthma? The bottle says 1/2 teaspoon daily and that is a lot in his food.
3weeks Prednisone and prednisone did nothing for my cat with neutrophilic chronic bronchitis. I was unhappy with the treatment and vet was offended and then refused to treat my cat (vet didn't care my cat was in distress)
So sad! If a vet is there for the cat - being offended is not the correct response - referring the cat to another vet with other options or trying others options would be the better response. Hope your kitty is better now
@@trish3580They asked me to leave, The first visit scheduled a $1100 treachwash and prednisone, a few weeks later my cat was worse and I knew by their heartless actions that they didn't want to be liable for my cat and and I'm sure they knew my cat was beyond help and dying but refused to answer my questions about her condition. I took my very sick to another vet and they said to euthanize, my cat had difficulty breathing and suffering and nothing to help her. It's a disgrace that they weren't honest and after trusting them that she was treatable turned out to be a cruel scam.

The desk staff ganged up on me like street hoodlums threatening to call the police if I didn't leave. Dr gues In Huntington gold coast vet conned me, stole my money for a phoney test $1150 + $200 visit fee and + 10x price of prednisone from them, they really knowingly soaked me. I went elsewhere for A second opinion for my cat and confirmed she actually had a big lung tumor and should euthanize. Can't trust gold coast vet....horrible....money maker....rotton....obviously routine staff intimidation.

My asthmatic cat was a feral and is now an indoor cat. I am wondering if living indoors brought on the asthma. What do you think doctor ?

I NEED HELP! My cat has had asthma for two years (since I adopted him) and I took him to the vet. Weâve tried steroids, inhalers, and litter changes. Heâs still having fits every other days. I REALLY want to try the hemp but I was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness and had to leave my job. I had to find a place for him and I to stay with a friend while I get treatment. Can someone PLEASE help me get this for him? I donât want to see him suffer. Thank you so much

aww!this is so sweet and makes me happy to look back and see that my baby has improved. he is on teice daily flovent inhalers two puffs for each dose. he has his weeks of daily attacks but they hardly last as long and are much less frequent in between the weeks. so happy for his health@@betinabinah1825
My cat has asthma. I figured out on my own through trial and error that he is allergic to fish . There are very few cat foods available without fish or fish oil but I did find some. When I changed his food he was better no more asthma. Even though the vet said it can't be a food allergy because he wasn't itchy. While I was waiting to see the vet and before I discovered his fish allergy, I gave him 2ml twice a day of mullein tea and it dramatically reduced his coughs.
